We don’t give to receive, but to receive is to connect vulnerably©When someone offers you a kind word, a compliment, compassion, or a present, does it make you uncomfortable? There are hidden downsides to placing giving over receiving. Thanks for joining us for Faith-Filled Friday with Debra Dolce and Trench Classes United. Today’s Love Letter is a great reminder that while we should be mindful of our motive for gift-giving, we also need to be able to receive. ~Love Letter~
Whoever gives a cup of cold water to one of My disciples, I promise you, you will not go unrewarded. Be one of those who gives and one who receives. When people try to give to you because of Me or because they love to give and want to bless you, allow it. When you are moved to share with certain ones or those around you, let it be so. Whatever the case may be, do it unto Me that I may in turn bless you. I love when you bless, when you love to bless one another. I too love to bless and love watching you travel in My footsteps. When you begin giving, you can't stop; you just can't quit because it's so good. There's something special about giving; and there's also something special about receiving. You can't plan to give just to receive, it's not the same. There's a special anointing, let's say, on those whose hearts are pure and they give without any expectation. Beloved, let your gift, your giving, and your reward, draw you closer to Me. ~DebraDolce #FaithFilledFriday #TrenchClassesUnited #LoveLetter #DebraDolce #KimEvinda #HealthyRelationships
