Monday Message You say, "Go"
and I am like a stone Frozen in fear in the depths of the unknown You say, "I am here" Yet, I cannot feel you near Because of this wall Built by bricks and tight ropes My own ship I do steer and when the storms come The sails rip to break of the waves Leaving me to fret To stew in dismay and then I cry out and then I do pray When all along You were there Standing on the shore Walking in the bay A rock and A fortress A King mighty to save But my ship I can't steer My control lost Caught In a rudder as I scream, "shift into gear!" To no avail As I stumble and I fail and as my ship sinks I lose all hope I am on the brink Ready to drown in a vast, endless sea Let me feel my own self-inflicted agony For this I do deserve The full weight The full girth But my Creator You have known me Even before birth and my mere existence on this earth Is not simply to live But to give My whole heart My full trust For when I feel that gust Of pure wind and I begin to slowly slip Your voice whispers "Dive in" and as I sink and I swim Treading the waters Shedding my sin You walk on the sea and say, "Rise, Darling, Come to me For in this life I Am All “I AM WHO I AM and, WHAT I AM, and I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE:” All that you will ever need Trust in that Trust in Me Believe “And God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM and WHAT I AM, and I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE; and He said, You shall say this to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you!” – Exodus 3:14 -Abigail Rice
