Wednesday Word In the midst of all the pain, a light of truth shown so brightly that it paused the
darkness named sorrow and suffering, and suddenly clarity came, out of nowhere, rendering her yet again humbled. Thanks for joining us for Wednesday’s Word with Kim-Evinda and Trench Classes United. Have you ever been so focused on what someone has done to hurt you that you had no idea you had a part in it? Today’s blog is for such a circumstance as this, and reveals something so freeing, we hope you will try it. To step out of our own pain and pray for understanding is one of the hardest, but most rewarding spiritual exercises I have ever experienced...and continue to experience. How do we step out of our own pain? The simple answer: Change our focus, and for many of us, that’s not so easy, at least for me it’s not. Proverbs 3:5 tells us to lean not on our own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path. There seems to be so many opportunities to apply this instruction lately, but let me share one from not too long ago: I remember spending an entire night praying with a heart that cried out for help, asking my Heavenly Father to hold me and to reveal my part in a very painful situation. I had been so immersed in and blinded by my own pain, I just knew I had to do something different. So instead of sitting in my pain, focusing on my right to be mad, hurt, and angry, I changed my focus. I didn’t ask Him to change the other person; I begged Him to reveal my part. Now, this requires that we sit in that pain, if you will, and not run from it, as many of us are tempted to do. Society teaches us that we shouldn’t feel pain; we should only do what makes us happy. Why is that false? Because pain and sorrow can bring understanding, but only if we change our focus to the One whose plan is to help us, lift us up and out of ourselves that we may learn from the pain. Let me say this: God wastes NOTHING, and certainly not any pain or sorrow. In other words, sometimes it takes pain to learn a lesson, to discover more about ourselves, to cut away that which needs to go that we may become more like our Creator. My heart is yet again soothed to know He is with me in it all; He’s highly invested in expanding my character as I expand my focus towards Him. As I let Him change me, the pain diminishes and turns into understanding…and my heart smiles again. May we keep our eyes on The One Who knows all things and works all things together for His glory and our eventual good. Love, Kim-Evinda

Tuesday Trench Truth Thanks for joining me for Tuesday’s Trench Truth.
This past week in our Living Fueled by Hope trench, we talked about wearing the faith mask, which can inhibit us from being honest with ourselves, others and God and stunt our ability to dig a bit deeper to discover any form of despair within us. What do I mean by that? As Christians, we are taught to behave a certain way, think a certain way and bury anything negative with prayer. But that’s not what Jesus Himself did when faced with the most painful, tragic circumstance: Death on the cross. In the Garden of Gethsemane, He acknowledged His despair; He faced His despair and then He relied upon His Father to deliver Him from it. When we use faith as a band aide to cover what hurst us, to protect it internally, we become infected. The verb form of faith is faith-ing…and while it is the cure, there is a bit of pain involved but oh the freedom of true inner healing. Check out our website for more information about what we do and who we are. Thoughtfully, Kim-Evinda www.trenchclassesunited.com Monday Message Have you ever felt so burdened you couldn’t look up and/or reach out?
Thanks for joining us for Monday’s Message with Abigail Rice and Trench Classes United. Today’s message empowers us in the area of surrendering so that the burden can become something that bends us into a position of surrendered. Trust Is like a fall and even when you think you know it all You’re probably wrong Because trust requires faith and faith requires belief Digging deeper beneath the surface Until you finally see Beyond the veil Beyond the lies Beyond every attempt The enemy takes at your very own life Strife Will come and in seasons You will learn There is a time to rest There is a time to mourn There is a time for joy and there is a time for closed doors But the question is Do you dare to explore? Beneath the flesh There is a soul wanting more More of Him More to give More life to live More room to forgive Because that That is when The story begins A book with no ends A heart that outlives The sorrow and strife The blade of a knife Because life Is created by The Light and this life Is a mystery in plain sight “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace. What do workers gain from their toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet[a] no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” - Ecclesiastis 3:1-9 Faith-Filled Friday Have you ever gotten a spanking and thanked the one who spanked you? Thanks
for joining us for Faith-Filled Friday with Debra Dolce and Trench Classes United. I don’t know about you, but there are areas in my life where a good God spanking is justified! Oh, my goodness, when God “spanks” us it is with the paddle of grace and while it may sting, it is not meant to hurt or harm but to make us better! ~Love Letter~ My dear one, never hold a grudge or try to get even, but plan your life around the noblest way to benefit others. Do your best to live as everybody's friend. This is another way of life that is contrary to the world around you. This is Kingdom life. When I said to pray "on earth as it is in heaven," I meant all things, behaviors, attitudes, desires, healings, emotions and even your own will. Can you imagine having a bad attitude in heaven, or cutting someone off? Can you imagine arguing with Abraham or Moses? That sounds ridiculous yet you do it with those around you!! Trying to always get your own way is an issue. Why do you have to be right, or the center of attention? Do you need to be noticed or have others think you're so smart? I tell you all of those come out of your emotions, your wrong thinking. How do you think relationships happen in heaven? Begin to practice Kingdom living now. Beloved, let go of all that "me-me, I-I" stuff and begin to practice Kingdom ways. ~DebraDolce Thursdays Trench Truth Thanks for joining me for Thursday’s Trench Truth.
I know it’s not just me, but how many of you have noticed all the chaos going on around us? Did you know that In the US, 42% of respondents to a fairly recent reported anxiety or depression symptoms, an increase of over 200% from the 2019 average!!!! Friends more than ever, we need connection, not isolation; we need communication, not cancellation. More than ever, we need community and morality instead of being so focused on mainstream media and its false reality. More than ever, friends, we need Jesus! Can I encourage you to press in to the One who loves you with His whole life, the One who will never leave you lonely, never lie to you, cheat on you, never abandon you. He is the One who waits to be invited in that He may cancel all that weighs you down and captivate you with His culture of grace. Have a terrific Thursday. Love, Kim-Evinda Wednesday Word As she was sharing her frustration, she couldn’t help but blurt out, “Why must I
always be the one to change?” Thanks for joining us for Wednesday’s Word with Kim-Evinda and Trench Classes United where she writes from her heart with the hope of speaking to yours. As soon as the words left her mouth, they both laughed out loud, not laughing at her but the truth that hung in the air from those pent-up words now set free. As soon as those words were spoken, a light went on for her and the release of them worked like a plug finding its way back to its source. The story of their lives held several similarities, except her recent season, but all that Karen shared was relevant for any season of life, no matter what the circumstance. As her therapist spoke, she was reminded that no one, not even Satan himself or his minions, could take her faith, her peace, or her spiritual well-being from her unless she allowed it! While that truth stung, it also worked like a salve, binding up the holes from the fiery darts the enemy and his minions had been hitting her heart and her back with for the past two-plus years. “The enemy can only exploit what’s already there,” Karen said. She knew immediately what needed to go: all the fears that accompanied the trauma. As they closed their time in prayer, the vision given to her absolutely took her breath away while healing her soul. It was of Jesus Himself, bending down and picking up all the pieces. It wasn’t until the next day that she remembered the verse found in Psalm 147:3 that confirmed the vision: “He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds.” Friend, if you have any sort of hole in your heart inflicted upon you by another, one that you feel you’ve forgiven but you just can’t forget, I pray you press into the Only one who can bring true healing. To look for any other source of healing is worse than trying to find a needle in a never-ending haystack! Love, Kim-Evinda Tuesday Trench Truth Thanks for joining me for Tuesday’s Trench Truth.
I’ve been reading Danny Gokey’s book Hope in Front of Me and there have been several what I call mini downloads that I so align with. This one, we either cultivate or eradicate, stood out for me as I turn the corner of healing from a three-year season of betrayal and rejection. To cultivate means to take steps to grow, improve; to eradicate means to remove or destroy completely. There are so many times that so many thoughts of hurting those who hurt me threaten my peace and if I don’t eradicate them quickly, they begin to cultivate…in other words root in my heart. Friends, when we truly eradicate that which is not of Christ, then cultivating the good in us and about us can take over. What do you need to eradicate that you may cultivate all that He has in you and for you today? Thoughtfully, Kim-Evinda Monday Message Have you ever felt out of balance in life, health, family?
Thanks for joining us for Monday’s Message with Abigail Rice and Trench Classes United. Life can feel like a teeter-totter, up one day and down the next but when the source of balance is His love, we will be prepared for whatever comes our way. Sleepless nights Fighting to survive Perfection lies and no one knows No one knows What lies behind Those beautiful brown eyes The tears pushed back The feelings inside Run Hide Don’t let them see you cry When all you hear is screams From run down dreams Always trying to please Where is this thing called balance? This happy in-between? You can’t be seen Thoughts run wild Stay for a while and then you might see The woman in the mirror and the girl underneath Just wanting to be loved To be more than enough But when is it enough? Where is this mystical love? Look above Look within Get back up and begin Again and again Because there will always be a fight A lie beneath the surface Disguising itself as light Pray for wisdom Pray for those thoughts in your mind and you just might Finally come to realize That love is enough From our Father His Son The Spirit Three in one. Hold on dear daughter For He has caught Every tear that has fallen from your eye and He has and never will leave your side All He asks is to lay down your pride Then the cracks will begin to leak A new kind of light “For you shall forget your misery; You shall remember it as waters that pass away. and your life shall be clearer than the noonday and rise above it; Though there be darkness, It shall be as the morning and you shall be secure and feel confident Because there is hope, Yes, you shall search about you, and you shall take your rest in safety.” - Job 13:16-18 Faith-Filled Friday ~Love Letter~
How many times have you heard or even said, The Bible’s outdated? Thanks for joining us for Faith Filled Friday with Debra Dolce and Trench Classes United. Today’s love letter is a great reminder that while it’s the oldest Book around, it’s the most ALIVE book. My love, every Scripture has been inspired by the Holy Spirit, the breath of God. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the paths of godliness. It is then you will be My servant, fully mature, and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment I give you. Do you see that through spending time in My Word it will empower you? It will give you strength to make the right decisions and lead you into deeper paths that I have for you. Then you will be My servant. Does that not touch your heart, servant of the living God, and the best thing about all of this is you "DO NOT" need to do it in your own strength, for you are fully loaded as you embrace My Word and make it yours. Beloved, I have set you up to be a success, it is rigged in your favor as you keep your eyes trained on Me and your ears sensitive to My voice. ~DebraDolce Thursdays Trench Truth Thanks for joining me for Thursday’s Trench Truth.
So after going through one of the most traumatic times in my life, I had this verse address (Romans 8:28) inscribed on my arm to remind me that NOTHING goes to waste, that He will use all of it for my good and His glory. Allowing that truth to seep into my soul was a lifeline in a time when I just didn’t want to exist. His principles and promises will NEVER leave you betrayed, broken, abandoned or rejected. Friends, I want to encourage you today that NO MATTER what you are enduring, He will bring you to preserving if you allow His truths to seep into your soul. Just pick one promise in the Bible, there’s literally thousands, and read it, say it, memorize it and allow it to seep into your soul so you too can experience that He’s not done until it’s good!
