Condemnation takes us away from Christ; conviction brings us back© ~Kim-Evinda One of the Enemy’s most powerful weapons of self-destruction is guilt and shame. Thanks for joining us for Monday’s Message with Abigail Rice and Trench Classes United. Today’s message reminds us that there is such a thing as “good guilt,” aka conviction. To feel guilt
Is a gift Not condemnation Shame Or blame But true, unadulterated guilt That’s a gift For once you feel How the Father feels About your wicked ways & the idols you put in His place Then and only then can you let repentance in as your walls fall down Your soul can begin To shout & cry out “Cleanse me Father, Make me clean & begin to glean Rip out the roots From ever weed and shoot That go down deep From every generation before me & restore me… Back to Your original design For I am Yours & You are mine” Time and time again I find myself back at this place Falling to my wicked ways & I allow the enemy to put me in a box Of shame Condemnation & blame But I know My Savior came to save The enemy may try to pry Into my mind To keep me From praying, reading, & interceding Making me believe my sins are to big & my shame is too great But I must not hide my face For I know My Savior came to save & I must continue to seek His face “For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him. He who believes in Him [who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him] is not judged [he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgement; for him there is no rejection, no condemnation—he incurs no damnation]; but he who does not believe (cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already [he has already been convicted and has already received his sentence] because he has not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christ’s name.]” - John 3:17-18 #MondaysMessage #TrenchClassesUnited #CondemnationOrConviction #KimEvinda #LivingFearlessly
