Wednesday’s Word PART 10
Thanks for joining us for When Faith Meets Suffering, Part 10. Our author has actually been asked several times by some of her prayer team members if she was writing this journey down, to which she replied that she was via this blog, When Faith Meets Suffering. So, again, we want to emphasize that we realize Social Media is all about the “happy” side of life, and this may seem like a real bummer, but the author wants to share from the side of pain, because pain is a part of real life. On the other side, she knows in her bones that God will bring a victory from this season of suffering and will be just as transparent about the victory as she has been about the season of suffering. Their difficult conversations in the days ahead revealed a revelation so painfully filled with truth that it hit her soul, rocked her mind and literally sent her to her knees as she imagined what he had felt like for all those years without the affection he craved. Never mind her perception, her truths that brought a different light to this particular snare that had sent him running from her and into her snare; just looking at it from his perspective was enough to bring such a palpable painful Godly sorrow. She cried for what felt like hours and as she prayed for forgiveness for her part of this tragedy, she felt a peace wash over her and cleanse her from all that had stolen from her, a peace that surpassed what had been her inability for years, the ability to connect with the man God gave her nearly 15 years ago in marriage. As she rose from her prostrated position of prayer and sat in her chair to journal, another powerful revelation landed in her soul and she began to write: WE BECAME ENEMIES IN INTIMACY. The tears came again, but mixed with the pain was an attitude of gratitude that God loves her enough to reveal these things to her and to not leave her the way that she was. She clicked on the link for the devotional she had gotten the day before to finish it up and smiled at God’s perfect timing yet again that reminded her she was not in this battle alone; that He was/is and will continue to fight for their marriage. “Longsuffering leads to Godly sorrow
If you are someone who’s been heart recently in the name of love, I pray that you will feel The Father’s arms of love wrap around you today, guide you and keep you in His perfect peace. Love, Kim-Evinda

Monday’s Message “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your path” Proverbs 3:5
So simple Yet so hard to grasp Our human minds only see the task A decision set before us Deemed to make without knowing what’s in store for us So easy to say ‘let go and just trust’ Yet too often we trust our own process and not the Person behind the progress Not the Spirit giving us that small push Or the voice we hear beneath the burning bush Flames keeping that burning desire in our hearts Yet the decisions to be made keep us from the start So we sit and we wait We contemplate All of the possibilities instead of the actuality Too afraid to face the reality When the weight seems to be too much All we can do is let go & just trust Trust in the One Trust in His word Whispering to us “This light momentary affliction is preparing us For an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison” and once we release that weight of worry Allowing God to take the glory We can finally see “not the things that are seen but the that are unseen – For the things that are seen are transient, But the things that are unseen are eternal” and that promise of eternity is beyond all fears of the external The decision may be ours But we must take arms The battle is not easy But we are given His fortuity And the chance to make the most of the opportunity [2 Corinthians 4:17-18] Love, Abigail |
