Monday’s Message What if we were to take more chances, dare to be brave, be bold? Thanks for joining us for our final Monday’s Message of the year with CPM and Trench Classes United.
Enjoy this message as you prepare to enter the new year As the new year approaches With dreams of successes & better learned lessons We start to dip our toes in We hope for more To new things and new places But lean towards the door Meet new people Feeling out of luck and low on love See new faces Walking out, giving up because it’s never enough Beyond the sand This world is not easy Your feet may get wet And your calling won’t be breezy Wading into the shore But the Lord is patiently waiting But the water is shallow For you to do more than partake in Afraid of deep water, and feeling so hallow New Year’s resolutions and man-made solutions The goals we set This year is for taking chances You know, those ones that are never met Under any and all circumstances Leave us wishing and hoping When you feel unsatisfied, uncomfortable, and afraid We had done more than self-loathing That’s how you know you are in the right place And less self-promoting Doing exactly the right things Remember, you are not alone: Dive in, be bold, be brave

Faith Filled Friday ~Love Letter~
Good morning, My warrior. My grace is always more than enough for you, and My power finds its full expression through your weaknesses. So celebrate your weaknesses, for when you are weak you sense more deeply the mighty power of Me living in you. I desire that you look to Me in all things; that you learn to trust Me and rely on Me; that you train your ear to hear My voice, to know the leading of the Holy Spirit. I don't lead you into bad situations and if you are listening to Me, you will never find yourself there. Take an inventory of your life. Are there things that cause you to compromise yourself, your faith? Are you full of worldly desires, selfishness or bitterness? You say that I am your Lord, but you never let Me sit on the throne of your heart and life. I desire to be your Lord, your Savior, the King of your life. Beloved, I desire to be the God that leads you out of the desert and into the promise land, where there is milk and honey. From the heart of God thru… Debra Join us for stories of redemption, encouragement for the journey and more at our Facebook page www.facebook.com/trenchclassesunited.com Wednesday’s Word The Day After Christmas
‘Twas the morn after Christmas, when all through the house, Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse The stockings once hung by the chimney with care Now lay empty, their contents lay everywhere The grandchildren still nestled all snug in their bed While visions of Christmas presents danced in my head And I in my bathrobe holding my coffee cup Nestled in my chair, not wanting to get up When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter I sprang from my chair to see what was the matter? Away to the window I flew like a flash Forgetting my coffee and making a splash The early morning moon was shining ever so bright On what appeared an angel surrounded in light I gasped out loud and opened the door a little wide I couldn’t believe what I was seeing outside It really was an angel surrounded in light I pinched myself to confirm my vision was right I dared walk a few feet closer to clarify The angel stopped me, its hand held high “I have a message for you, your friends & family I’ve been sent from Heaven, from the Trinity” I stood there frozen, not daring to move on the lawn The moon lessened intensity into the early dawn The angel spoke with gentle authority An interesting message for you and for me “I wonder how many of you will heed what I say About all that shopping done for Christmas Day “Now Target, now Macy’s, now Nordstrom’s, Amazon too And Bath & Body, Ross and TJ Max, to name a few Will be sending you the bills for who knows how long And that’s okay; you’ve not done anything wrong “Maybe it’s time to rethink how you celebrate This Christmas season, this once-a-year holiday Instead of going into debt and increasing the stress Think of gifts to give all year that are priceless” Like what, I asked this heavenly angel of light Still standing in disbelief as I stared at this sight I wanted to hear what this heavenly angel had to say So I could return to my memories of Christmas Day “All of you have confined Christmas to one day With months of shopping, wrapping, and gifting away And when the day has come and it is all but a memory Stress and costs still linger for none of what you gave was free “In this New Year approaching, might I suggest three gifts for each day? Offer peace in times of conflict instead of demanding your own way Love that unlovable, though your human nature doesn’t want to It will go a long way in building bridges instead of destroying you “Extend grace to someone who’s hurt you in some way And know you’re not alone in this each and every day For when you give what you long to receive You become the change that you long to see” The angel began to ascend to the heavens high in the skies I stood and watched until I could no longer see with my eyes And though out of sight, its message and presence were still near I vowed to myself to practice these gifts throughout the New Year As we approach the end of this year and head into next, may we keep the Christmas Spirit going all year by giving love to the unlovable, being peacemakers in times of contention and extending grace when offended or hurt by others! Love, Kim-Evinda Tuesday’s Truth The greatest gift ever given, the biggest sacrifice ever suffered is the “Who” and the “Why” of today.
This Christmas, may you create memories that make your heart smile and carry you to and thru the new year! Thanks for joining us for our Monday’s Message from Abby. On the Eve of Christmas we do hold dear But it’s more than gifts with ribbons All the family & friends that have come near and garland with bows celebrating the giving of joy It’s about being led by His Spirit & the birth of a baby Boy wherever you go, He goes We give & receive Seasons are changing and so are we We wrap & we bake Each day we are closer to eternity The feeling of warmth as our hearts partake an eternal life given by Him Is a feeling of love that cannot be replaced In a place with no evil, no more sin But let us remember the real reason we celebrate His son He did give The birth of a Son to let us truly live The way, The Truth, The Life a life full of love The One a gift from above He is the reason we dedicate this one day of the year no present can surpass to be filled to the brim with holiday cheer no gift ever outlast The glitter, the snow the human He became The lights all aglow to save us from our ways So on this special holiday Let us remember to also give thanks That one day soon you will see Him at Heaven’s gate and thank Him, praise Him face to face Love, Abby Faith Filled Friday Love Letter~
Good morning, My love. Remember to stay alert and hold firmly to all that you believe. Be mighty and full of courage. Let love and kindness be the motivation behind all that you do. For love and kindness are what people remember. You can tell them about Me all day long, but unless you are compassionate, unless you love unconditionally, people barely hear you. But when your life lines up with My Word, that is when you become most effective. People want to be delivered from the hell they are living through now, they don't really care about the sweet by-and-by. Do you take the time to listen? Do you care about their struggle? Sometimes the best answer is to listen. Some just need to be heard. And when you take the time to just listen, oh My love, then you can shower them with love and compassion, for that is worth more than silver and gold. People need to know they are loved. Just like I gave My life for you, I gave My life for them. Beloved, embrace those I put in your path for they need your love and My life. Debra Thursday’s Truth If you could give a gift that money couldn’t buy, what would it be?
This is the most wonderful time of the year, and the greatest time to begin practicing giving gifts that money can’t buy, not just in the name of Christmas, but all through the year. If I had to think of a gift that money couldn’t buy, I think I’d go with…kindness. I need to practice kindness, especially in our fast-paced, social-media driven, technologically transported society! Oh, to take my greedy grasp off my own agenda and practice kindness by…giving a genuine compliment to someone, a heart-felt thank you to anyone who serves me at a restaurant, a drive-thru, a retail store, or making time for someone lonely…I could go on and on… Join our Facebook community for daily encouragement @ www.facebook.com/trenchclassesunited Love, Kim-Evinda Wednesday’s Word Another Christmas is coming down the track…seemingly faster than the ones before. Do I stay on the same track or…What do I want to do different this year?
Thanks for joining us for Coffee Hour with Chicklit Power and Wednesday’s Word with Trench Classes United. I hope you enjoy this poem, Gifts of the Season THE GIFTS OF THE SEASON It is not about the presents under the Christmas tree, But the presence of love we feel from friends and family It’s not about the shopping that we feel we must do But about the gift that has been given freely to me and you The gift is a gift that money can’t buy The birth, death & resurrection of Christ is for you and I Nor is it about making a list and then checking it twice And buying countless gifts for the naughty or the nice The reason for the season isn’t about all the debt and stress It’s a season to offer special gifts such as patience and forgiveness Or maybe a gift of time for one whose time is running out A meal for a family in need to encourage hope where there is doubt Or maybe someone needs a helping hand to accomplish a tedious chore Yes, these are the kinds of gifts that keep on giving forever more Oh that we would take the materialism out of this season And in its place remember redemption is our reason Acts of kindness come freely to and from those walking in His Spirit They will outlive materialism though the world doesn’t want to hear it The gifts of Love, joy, peace, patience, don’t need a reason Nor does kindness, gentleness or self-control have to have a season! EL May the gifts of the season guide you to and through the New Year! Love, Kim-Evinda |
