Monday’s Message It’s not always about who’s wrong, or who’s right
It’s the push, the pull, the dirty, ugly fight We dream of white dresses and sweet, tender caresses But sometimes this marriage really gets to the best of us No two people are perfect; yet no love given from God goes unsurfaced and if we remember the real reason He placed us here, together, forever wedded There is a true meaning which is not about the butterflies and having the best of times It’s not about hiding the hard truth beneath mountains of lies But to be honest, To be real; To tell each other how you truly feel The good the bad, the ugly and the sad It may be tough but in the end it makes us, “us” It’s what makes us tough That true love; God given, undreamed of love So open up to that partner you married Someone you should trust who holds you accountable And for whom you are to be reliable It won’t always be easy, but His purpose prevails Always, and forever, utterly and completely. This thing called marriage was crafted and made So two people on earth could love each other Like Christ loves the church Blameless, and forgiving No scores kept ; No winning Always there when you trip on your feet Holding you up when the walk is rough To be there for one another Two bodies, one soul Showing the world how His perfect love helps us grow

Wednesday’s Word Psalm 141:3: “Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips.”
Have you ever walked into a room full of people or up to a group of “friends” and feel the tension as they become quiet with your appearance? You just know they’re talking about you, right? Maybe, maybe not! But nevertheless, it’s a horrible feeling. Thanks for joining me for Wednesday’s Word with Trench Classes United. What do you feel when you hear/read the word gossip? Most people when asked that question say they don’t like it; they think it’s wrong. The funny thing is almost everyone does it…but I must say unconsciously because they’ve become immune to their own form of gossiping! The word gossip is a noun and means: “Idle talk, rumor, especially about the personal or private affairs of another.” Hmmm, personal or private creates a conundrum with the use of social media, but still, anything we say about another, if it can’t be said in front of that same person, shouldn’t be said! When we gossip, it says more about us than about the one we’re talking about! Gossip is like alcohol, legal but deadly! It causes so much damage. Father, help us to live by the golden rule: If we don’t have nothing nice to say about another, let us say nothing at all. Set a guard, O Lord, over our mouths. Help us to keep watch over the door of our lips and practice saying nothing at all unless it edifies them and glorifies you. Learning and unlearning Kim-Evinda Faith-Filled Friday In the midst of this season, may we push the pause button to not only read these words, but to allow them to digest in our soul, be planted in our hearts and bloom in our lives.
Thanks for joining us for Faith-Filled Friday @ Coffee Hour with Chicklit Power and Trench Classes United. Get yourself something warm to drink and get comfy and cozy as you read this love letter from the heart of God thru Debra Good morning, My bride. Life is good for the one who is generous and charitable, conducting affairs with honesty and truth. In order for the world around you to see you're different, you must be different. See, you have been called to righteousness and that is in every area of your life. When dealing with your family, portray Me and treat them as I treat you. Love and respect your family, even if they are not treating you the best. Look at every situation with My eyes. Ask Me to show you what to do, what to say and what not to say. Set boundaries for I desire you to be loving but not abused. Look at situations in your work and dealing with others. Don't be afraid to show your real self for I am your God. You don't have to be on a soapbox to let My Light shine through you. Being kind, honest, generous and trustworthy stands out like a beacon in this dark age. Don't be the voice of reason; be My voice, the voice of the Living God. Beloved, declare My Word… God Thru… Debra |
