Monday’s MessageAnother month comes to a close
Flies by Slipping under our nose And I stand on my toes As I reach for who knows… A place I cannot see and of only You Only me and as I pray I feel Your peace Bending my knees I seek only Thee and I pray for my own humanly needs To place my mind in a feeling of ease and then I think of those in lesser situations than me How do they cope? How do they breathe? When life throws stone Who truly bleeds? And I pray that my path leads me to Thee A place where the branch Meets the Oak tree For I am at a place Where there is no escape No left or right turn Just a slow steady burn So let that burn be Thy work Let us be laborers But not only that To go out and create Step up to bat For the laborers are few And this harvest we must reap For someday soon There will be no more you No more me Just our souls Cadencing “Then He said to His disciples, the harvest is indeed plentiful, But the laborers are few. So pray to the Lord of the harvest To force out and thrust laborers into His harvest.” – Matthew 9:37-38 -Abigail Rice For more from our author, visit instagram.com/ajourney2life

Faith-Filled FridayI’ve learned, albeit I forget, that what we speak, especially if we speak it over and over, comes to pass, because our brains only know what we tell them. This works both in the negative and the positive. So what if…we started speaking His Word over us and in us?
Thanks for joining us for Faith-Filled Friday with Debra Dolce and Trench Classes United. This Love Letter is a great reminder of allowing what we speak to work for us not against us. ~Love Letter~ My warrior, I solemnly instruct you to proclaim the Word of God and stand upon it no matter what! Rise to the occasion and preach when it is convenient and when it is not. Preach in the full expression of the Holy Spirit-with wisdom and patience as you instruct and teach people. Every single person is a preacher because you all have influence. It starts with yourself, your family and then spreads out from there. You may not have a church building but you and all that follow you are My Ecclesia. When you talk and share Me and share your faith, others are encouraged, and some have been set free. Be careful of your words; let them be seasoned with salt that will be flavorful and make others thirsty for more of Me. Be one that continually directs others to your Abba Daddy, that has true life, causing others to seek after Me. Teach the importance of being in My Word, to believe and stand on it, that people will grow in the knowledge of Me. To learn it is to speak it over yourself and others. Remember, My Word says to meditate on it day and night, that it will do the work it is meant to do in each life. Beloved, preach, teach, encourage and spur one another on to good works. ~DebraDolce Thursday’s Truthful HumorWelcome to Thursday’s Truthful Humor where we pull truth from Humor… Come on in for a little Thanksgiving giggle I found on Christians Unite Clean Jokes.
How many of you have a pet, specifically a dog? Maybe you’ll agree with these statements: Dogs don't have problems expressing affection in public. Dogs miss you when you are gone. You can train a dog. Dogs are very direct about wanting to go out. Dogs understand what "NO" means. Dogs mean it when they kiss you. When dogs play "fetch", they don't laugh at how you throw. Dogs are color blind. So these are some simple truths about dogs, and yet, growth really happens in a relationship when we apply some of the dog-gone principles in our human-to human relationships. For more encouragement, join our Insta fam, and take a tour at www.trenchclassesunited.com Wednesday’s WordAs is our custom at CPM, and Trench Classes United, I like to say thank you to all who have continued to support us prayerfully and/or monetarily and those who have been in any of our trenches. I pray that this season of thanks will find your heart and burdens lighter and your perspective about it all brighter. May you enjoy this poem and may it bring a smile to your face and a giggle to your heart. And despite what 2020 has been, may you find something in your heart to be thankful for. Twas the night before Thanksgiving all through the house Every creature was stirring, including the mouse Everyone was working on all of the fixings The noise and smells were coming from the kitchen The children were busy with their tablets and toys Captured in their games, they made not a noise While the adults laughed and worked all collectively What a beautiful sight it was for any heart to see When all of a sudden there arose such a clatter Mom ran to the kitchen to see what was the matter She looked to the left and she looked to the right She couldn’t believe what was in plain sight There was broken glass from a favorite platter And at first glance, she knew it didn’t matter Everyone was frozen, waiting for her reaction But she didn’t give the devil that satisfaction The counters were a mess, preparations everywhere It looked as though a tornado had just gone thru there The turkey had flown from the platter to the floor The poor thing looked like it just couldn’t take no more The stove was a disaster waiting to happen full of pots and pans, handles overlapping The old mom would have immediately gotten on her broom And painted the atmosphere with a bit of doom and gloom But the new and improved mom was no longer that way For she had learned the true meaning of Thanksgiving Day She stared at each of them and the mess they surrounded Knowing her response would leave them astounded Now sons, now daughters, in-laws and friends like family Is this ever a sight for the eyes of my heart to see? More than the chaos, the mess on the floor The memories we’re making are worth so much more So grab a rag, and a dishtowel too Here’s one for each and every one of you Let’s work together in cleaning up this mess It will only take a few minutes or less Pick up the turkey, and we’ll wash him off We’ll stuff him but good and put him in the trough We’ll baste him all over, and get him ready to eat No one will ever know we stepped on his feet And when the morrow comes and we gather for the meal We’ll be able to discern what matters and what’s real Faith, family, friends, love and laughter Help to bring us all the happily ever after I looked to each of them with tears in my eyes And said something I had just realized Oh, why can’t it be Thanksgiving every day? Loving each other in a Christ-like way Patience, self-control, love and joy too Are there for the asking for each of you We don’t have to wait for a holiday to see That Christ’s greatest gift is that of family Joyfully, Kim-Evinda Tuesday's Truthful HumorWelcome to Tuesday’s Truthful Humor where we pull truth from humor.
So today I’m going to share with you The 10 Reasons God created Eve that I found on Christians Unite Clean jokes. I’ll start from the tenth and work our way to the number one reason: 10. God worried that Adam would always be lost in the garden because He knew men would never ask for directions. 9. God knew that Adam would one day need someone to hand him the TV remote because men don't want to see what is on TV; they want to see WHAT ELSE is on TV. 8. God knew that Adam would never buy a new fig leaf when the seat wore out and therefore would need Eve to get one for him. 7. God knew that Adam would never make a doctor's appt for himself. 6. God knew that Adam would never remember which night was garbage night. 5. God knew that if the world was to be populated there would have to someone to bear children because men would never be able to handle it. 4. As Keeper of the Garden Adam would never remember where he put his tools. 3. The Scripture account of creation indicates that Adam needed someone to blame his troubles on when God caught him hiding in the garden. 2. As the Bible says, "It is not good for man to be alone", he only ends up getting himself in trouble. And the NUMBER ONE reason... 1. When God finished the creation of Adam he stepped back, scratched his head and said, "I can do better than that." Ahh, we were meant to complete the man, not compete with the man! Watered down Or way too much? All I have Is never enough This time one earth A merciless drug Pour in Don’t give up I promise He will fill you up Feeling stuck Out of luck This world gone mad Cry out Abba, Father, Dad Where are You now? Where is Your sneak attack? Your soldiers are ready Armed and clad Where is Your mercy? We're giving all we have Never enough This is no bluff Just a chance To prove our love We are on Your side We drop our pride Stop saying everything will work out fine You must stand up You must stop hiding behind the clandestine There is no time The time is here The time is now Are you ready for battle? Get on your knees Pray out loud "Behold, I stand at the door and I knock; If anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice And opens the door, I will come in to him and Will eat with him, and he will eat with me." And then as the parent, you get to lovingly teach the child a new and better way. Oh, the love of our Father who does just that for us.
Thanks for joining us for Faith-Filled Friday with Debra Dolce and Trench Classes United. Today’s love letter is a perfect reminder that we don’t have to keep doing the same thing expecting a different result; He’s waiting to help. Love Letter~ My dear one, the heart of the wise will easily accept instruction. But those who do all the talking are too busy to listen and learn. They'll just keep stumbling ahead into the mess they created. Hear My instruction. Pay close attention to what I'm saying. When I give you instruction, do not continually return to the old, comfortable way, but step out of your comfort zone and by faith step into the unknown, for if I said it, I WILL surely do it. I will keep you from stumbling into the mess you created as you follow My instruction. Sit quiet in My Presence and learn to listen, learn to discern My leading, learn to discern the times and seasons, that you can position yourself where I need you. When you are sensitive to My prompting I can use you in places you never imagined. Continually humble yourself before Me and let nothing rise up within you making you think you've done something or achieved some great thing. Remember My Word says, I'll not share My glory. Beloved, always desire to bring My glory upon everything you do, and your going out and coming in will be blessed. ~DebraDolce Thursday’s Truthful HumorWelcome to Thursday’s Truthful Humor where we pull truth from humor.
A collector of rare books ran into an acquaintance who told him he had just thrown away an old Bible that he found in a dusty, old box. He happened to mention that Guten-somebody-or-other had printed it. "Not Gutenberg?" gasped the collector. "Yes, that was it!" "You idiot! You've thrown away one of the first books ever printed. A copy recently sold at auction for half a million dollars!" “Oh, I don't think this book would have been worth anything close to that much," replied the man. "It was scribbled all over in the margins by some guy named Martin Luther." Ahh, no matter what version or edition of the Bible that you have, which is the most widely sold and read book, it doesn’t need to have anyone’s notes or scribbles in it to be more valuable; it just needs you to read and apply, and the value will be experienced. Have you had a dose of His Word today? For more encouragement, join us on our Insta fam, Trenchclassesunited, and take a tour at www.trenchclassesunited.com Read more at Christians Unite Wednesday’s WordThe words she read worked like a release on a faucet and the tears streamed down her face. They were confused tears: tears of comfort, but also of perplexity, tears that cried I want to be like this, tears that begged to know how to get there. Thanks for joining us for Wednesday’s Word with Kim-Evinda and Trench Classes United. If you’ve ever experienced life coming at you hard, you won’t want to miss this Wednesday’s Word. She had come back to the table to feast on and in His Word, eager to continue from where she had left off. Despite her years of reading His principles and promises, she was experiencing a new type of feasting because of the four-point prayer she prayed before the meal: 1: Forgive me, Abba, of any wrong actions and attitudes yesterday, cleanse me from any resentments. Please, Lord, help me allow you to make me better, not bitter in this current season. 2. Clear my mind of any interpretations, any prior teachings on this portion of scripture that I may learn a new thing, learn what You want me to learn today and in my current circumstances. 3: Reveal how this portion of Scripture applies to me in the here and now, in this season. 4: And Abba, please grant me the courage to live out the application that is coming from you today. Amen. She was ready to dive into the Beatitudes found in Matthew 5, but she didn’t get far. When she read a Biblical definition for the word bless-ed, (emphasis on the two syllables, versus blessed) her heart was pierced with hope and conviction at the same time. Bless-ed: “The experience of hope and joy independent of outward circumstances.” “How does one get there,” she wondered aloud. She felt a stirring to continue reading, knowing that He would provide the answers if she brought a willing heart to the table. Matthew 5:3: “Bless-ed are the poor in spirit…” she stopped. She knew from feeding her faith for all these years that He wasn’t talking anything monetarily. She began to write what He was speaking to her with so few words: This has more meaning to me now; I used to think it had to do with the poor, the not-so lucky, but now I see so much more. It’s being willing to give when others would take; to love when others turn to hate. To not repay evil for evil. To stay in the process of healing is to be poor in spirit, trusting that He will right what’s been done wrong. This is the way to become part of the kingdom of heaven. She sat there, grateful for the relief from anxiety, anger and confusion brought about by such unspeakable betrayal, knowing that at His table is where she would find her rest and her growth all at the same time. Jack's grandfather left him ten million dollars, and the next week Diane agreed to marry him. After three months of married life, Jack noticed that his beautiful new wife was ignoring him more and more. Whenever they went out in public, she ignored him and flirted with other men. Finally, he decided to confront her. "Diane," he said, "was the only reason you married me was because my grandfather left me ten million dollars when he died?" "Don't be ridiculous," she replied, "I don't care who gave you the money!" Ahhh, marriage and motive, marrying with the wrong motives will rarely lead us the right way. Marriage God’s way has the motive of becoming more like Him so that we may experience hope and joy despite what is happening outside the marriage; marriage is to be a shelter from the storms, a classroom full of lessons, made possible by His grace living through each man and wife.
