Monday Message We all have had or will have experienced frustration about things not
working out the way we had hoped or planned. And then that a-ha moment when we realize, we are not really the one in control. Thanks for joining us for Monday’s Message with Abigail Rice and Trench Classes United. Today’s poem is a great reminder that often our humanness can bend and break us but He’s always there to guide us. Father, I repent Holy Spirit i want You in But I backslide Slipping down the slope Of believing the enemy’s lies Father, please forgive For i do not have the strength Within To live this life Relying on myself over and over again I need You here I need You now I need You to show me how Show me how to find my You How to have faith in You Father, make me brand new I need You Break these ties upon my soul and lead me in the way I should go Father, You have my heart Spirit, You are my home “Do not cast me away from Your presence And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit.” Psalm 51:10-11

Faith-Filled Friday When you deposit money in the bank, and go to withdraw it, you expect
to be able to, right? You can’t withdraw what you haven’t deposited. Thanks for joining us for Faith-Filled Friday with Debra Dolce and Trench Classes United. Today’s Love Letter is a reminder that what is stored in the heart comes out in our actions and attitudes. ~Love Letter~ People are known in this way: Out of the virtue stored in their hearts, good and upright people will produce good fruit. Likewise, out of the evil hidden in their hearts, evil ones will produce what is evil. The overflow of what has been stored in your heart will be seen by your fruit and will be heard in your words. This is very clear and should cause you to pause on a regular basis to evaluate what's in your heart. When you're continually in My Word and in prayer, you will receive conviction and correction. What is stored in your heart? Many say they love Me but "fudge" on things or tell "little white lies." What is that about? That ought not to be. Remember, there is nothing hidden from Me. Everything begins to show if you don't deal with the underlying and unresolved things. Beloved, fill your heart and mind with My principles and promises for this will help to keep your motives pure and reflect good attitudes and actions. ~DebraDolce Thursdays Trench Truth Welcome to Thursday’s Trench Truth…how many of you hear that truth and laugh at its
contradiction? Think about it: if you didn’t experience sadness, how would you understand and appreciate happiness? If you hadn’t of experienced tears, how could you know what it’s like to experience true laughter? And if you’ve ever experienced not feeling well, don’t you appreciate being healthy even more? So it is with hope: who/what we put our hope in determines our emotional stability. Join us for Living Fuelled by Hope coming to a trench near you in April. Fuelled up with Hope in Him, Kim-Evinda Wednesday Word She continued in her study and after just four verses, she had to stop. How could it
be and why is it that everything I read lately in the Old Testament seems to speak to the very season I’m in? How could that be? What are you trying to teach me? Thanks for joining us for Wednesday’s Word with Kim-Evinda and Trench Classes United where she actually got several answers to all of her own questions. She dared to ask the same question that Moses did all those years ago, “Why have you brought me to this if you knew they were going to resist, and in fact, cause more trouble, and you still haven’t moved or changed it?” (paraphrased: Exodus 5:22) As she continued to read, she was surprisingly surprised over the similarities with Moses’s story not only in her life but also the cycles that seem to reveal the same problems in the world today: a lack of obedience…or is it a lack of faith, she wondered? She so related to Moses’s cry of why? Why do things seem to get worse when we do what He asks us to do? The season she’d been in for almost four years now was so close to approaching the other side of healing, and yet, she was tired, weary, and at times wondered if this was as good as it would get. And then she’d remember the promises He gave her in the beginning of the journey, miracles of sorts. She continued to read. I am the Lord; I will bring you out from the burdens of the Egyptians. I will rescue you from their bondage and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. I will take you as My people and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.” Ex. 6:6a-7 As was her custom, she applied her stuff to what she read: “I am your God; I will bring you out from under the burden of _________. I will rescue from _______ and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments to those who have not repented. I will take you as mine and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brings you out of the burdens of ________.” Friends, life application is powerful which is why I have left those blanks for you to fill in with whatever has you wondering why. May you come to learn that faith is to obedience what obedience is to faith; they fuel and feed each other, and you need them both on your way to heaven. Much love Kim-Evinda Tuesday Trench Truth Welcome to Tuesday’s Trench Truth. Have you ever seen someone walking with crutches?
If you have, you probably saw a bit of a struggle; it’s not easy to do. Now if we take that same analogy and bring it into our emotions, there are many things that we tend to lean on internally which cause us to sort of limp through life. And more often than not, it’s a sneaky process where you aren’t even aware of it and you become immune to this way of life, hoping in an external thing for internal contentment. When something outside of me shakes up the inside of me, I must ask myself, who or what am I hoping in and for? Plan on joining us for Living Fuelled by Hope coming to a trench near you in April. Truthfully, Kim-Evinda Monday Message Time flies…we’ve all heard this before and if we’re honest,
have experienced it in our lives, where time doesn’t stand still, waits for no one and in fact flies. Thanks for joining us for Monday’s Message with Abigail Rice and Trench Classes United. Today’s message is a great reminder that slowing down to hear the whispers of God bring clarity and peace. The calm The chaos The beauty of His peace Confidently trusting That He stands in the seas Breaking the waves As the storm continues to rage All around the world Is loud Silent forces of energy The sound so subtle Yet so profound My mind wanders in this desert Searching for a way out But Your stream of living waters continues to pour out Quenching my thirst Calming me down Holding me close Because inward you know That outward I can’t show The state of my soul But You, Lord, You know You know my thoughts You know my needs Reminding me to breathe For you are the God of all All peace Prosperity The King of all Kings Lifting my soul From dead and dry bones Calming my mind From the storms and the wind Bringing me back into Your arms again To a meadow of grassy, green land Where Your Light Shines so bright I have no room for terror No room for fright For You build me up and tear me down The walls fall to the ground and there i am Finally free Finally found In sweet serendipity Knowing You were always holding me Always close to me and now i see the sweetness of Your Love Tasting the fruit of Your trees Lord, let Your Spirit seep into me “[Zion now cries to the Lord, the God of Israel] Awake, awake, put on strength and might, O arm of the Lord; awake, as in the ancient days, as in the generations of long ago. Was it not You Who cut Rahab [Egypt] in pieces, Who pierced the dragon [symbol of Egypt]? Was it not You Who dried up the Red Sea, the waters of the great deep, Who made the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over? [Why then are we left so long in captivity?] [The Lord God says] And the redeemed of the Lord shall return and come with singing to Zion; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.” - Isaiah 51:9-11 Faith-Filled Friday Many view the 10 Commandments as outdated, rigid, but His intention for them was
for our good. Thanks for joining us for Faith-Filled Friday with Debra Dolce and Trench Classes United. Today’s love letter is a great reminder that His old rules are to point us to a new life, and while we’ll never be able to keep them all, all the time, His grace keeps us in the journey to Him. ~Love Letter~ It is obvious that no one achieves My righteousness by attempting to keep the law, for it is written: The one who is in a right relationship with Me, your God will live by faith! And if you live by faith then your desire would be to walk in a right relationship with Me. You know that's My desire. I desire that all My children would have a radical love for Me. I don't want anyone to ever be surprised to find out that you serve Me. It's okay to ask yourself what I would do in certain situations. Scripture tells you to seek wise counsel and I will speak to you. I never leave you without a direction when your desire is to follow Me and to walk in righteousness. Remember My Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path. You will always find what you need in prayer and the study of My Word. Then you get to walk your walk by faith, showing you believe and that you trust Me. Do you trust Me? Build on that trust however small and watch as things happen to strengthen your trust. Beloved, you will learn to trust Me well as you walk in the assurance that I love and care for you. ~DebraDolce Thursdays Trench Truth Thanks for joining us for Thursday’s Trench Truth.
I’ve been in the trenches with hundreds of people over the last several years, and people who have never experienced our trench classes ask, why is it called trench? The answer is simple: it takes work to peel back the layers of life that have us connecting to others in a way that leaves us feeling disconnected. It takes rolling up our sleeves, taking off the various masks we tend to wear, depending on who we’re around, and getting real with ourselves, God and others. If you’d like to learn about the five things we, even “Christians,” tend to put our hope in, plan on joining us for Living Fuelled by Hope, coming to a trench near you in April. In the meantime take a tour at www.trenchclassesunited to learn more about who we are, what we do and why we do what we do. Love, Kim-Evinda Wednesday Word She sat dumbfounded in her conviction, amazed by His gentle ways, His love for her
that refused to keep her as she was, but shaped her more and more into His representative. She knew where this revelation came from, the One who loved her enough to correct her and comfort her at the same time: If I really believe that God is who He says He is, and He will do what He says He will do, then why wouldn’t I trust Him with my burdens and blunders? Have you ever experienced exasperated frustration, or a season of waiting for an answer to prayer that really tested your faith? Thanks for joining us for today’s blog where Kim-Evinda shares from her heart to yours for such a time as this as she shares what she’s learning about emotional healing. I find I do my best sharing when it’s based on what I have learned in the process of enduring, and what I am still learning. It’s the latter that I find myself in during this season of healing. I mean I could write for hours about what I’m learning on the road of healing, but at the risk of being too transparent I will say that emotional healing absodarnlutely (my word) is not for the quitter! Why do I say that? Well, healing takes courage because it has a path of its own, one that is often unknown. Healing requires determination to stay on that path and not deviate, sort of like an unseen operation. One certainly wouldn’t get up in the middle of being operated on, would they? Another thing I’ve learned about healing; it requires an obedience to the One I claim to be my God. And finally, healing often requires waiting and of course it’s hard not to wonder and wander in the waiting. The human condition sure makes it hard to sit and wait when you receive no direction, right? I mean, “wait” really is the direction when you receive no direction. But what is it that we do when we are losing hope, getting frustrated beyond exasperation or tired of waiting for others to figure it out? I’d like to share what I am learning to do during times such as this with an acrostic using the word “stop”: STOP and… Stretch your focus back into His Word to align your thoughts with His. Thank Him in advance for taking it and making it all work together for good. Own your frustration, anger, and/or sadness, and then ask God to change them [you can’t disown what you haven’t owned!] Pray and praise more vs. participating in private party logic. Yes, I am convinced that what comes out of my mouth reveals who is in control of my life. I want others to see my love for Jesus, not my frustrations with others. May you be encouraged to Stop, no matter what situation you find yourself in…so that those whom He has in your life can tell He is in control of your life. Love, Kim-Evinda Tuesday Trench Truth Thanks for joining us for Tuesday’s truthful humor.
This single guy named Bill wanted a horse. He began to shop and saw an interesting ad on Craigslist which was advertising a “Christian horse.” He sent an inquiry and made arrangements to go see this horse. When Bill got to the ranch, he introduced himself to the horse's owner and they talked small talk on their way to where the horse was. As soon as Bill saw the horse, he couldn’t help but get excited and asked if he could ride him, take him for a test drive, so to speak. The owner said, sure, "It's easy to ride him. Just say 'praise the Lord' to make him go, and 'amen' to make him stop." Bill got on the horse and said "praise the Lord" the horse started to walk. "Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, praise the Lord" and the horse is running. Now Bill sees the cliff and says: "AMEN" The horse stops and Bill says: "Whew! Praise the lord!" The Word of God says that He inhabits the praises of His children…can I encourage you to find at least five things to praise Him for each day? And mark your calendars for our Living Fuelled by Hope coming in April! For more encouragement, come take a tour at www.trenchclassesunited.com |
