Monday Message When you sense God moving you in an unexpected direction, what do you do? Do you
resist or do you rest? Thanks for joining us for Monday’s Message with Abigail Rice and Trench Classes United. Today’s poem shares all the emotions that come with faith-ing (rhymes with bathing) through a change of direction. Lord, I’m not sure what You are up to But i sense your moves I see your ways You take every piece of me that I thought would break And held it there Showing me it would all be okay Every chance I take Every step I make That makes no sense That leaves me drowning In this depthless trench Sometimes makes me question Will it always be like this? But just as the moon Soon becomes new So will these shattered pieces Be left in the deep end As you knit in my mother’s womb You knew I would feel like this You knew my mind would fall off the deep end And damp; You knew You would pick me back up again and; again Reminding me, darling, this isn’t the end Your colors are just beginning to show Through every shattered piece Light leaks Like a kaleidoscope Brighter now Lighter now Let those pieces go There is something I want you to know You are loved You are light You were chosen for this fight My mighty warrior You soldier on Put your armor on And damp; raise your arms For this is your battle cry Your hearts true song The days feel heavy The weight unbearing Your heart So caring But so afraid To make mistakes Let it go Let it break Give those broken pieces to Me and; you will see The truth of this reality I created you to love and; the only way to feel the depth of this Is to experience it The breadth The height All the might Can only be felt Through these cards you’ve been dealt That seem unfair That seem like no one cares But be aware You’re smarter than you let on Press on Keep believing Keep on singing This life While not easy Is a mission A mission of leading Lead the lost into My Arms Those in pain Those who do you harm You have all that you need If you would just come, daughter, Come abide in Me. “May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love; That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it]; [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!” - Ephesians 3:17-19

Faith-Filled Friday If you were asked if you had a difficult or unlovable person in your life, chances are,
you’d say yes. Thanks for joining us for Faith -Filled Friday with Debra Dolce and Trench Classes United. Today’s love letter is a great reminder of how easy it can become to pour love into the unlovable. ~Love Letter~ Anyone can say "I love God" yet have anger and/or resentment toward another believer. This makes them phony, because if you don't love those who are difficult to love and whom you can see, how can you truly love Me, whom you can't see? This is a good question that should make you stop and think. Maybe you don't actually hate somebody but because of your own unresolved anger and/or resentment, you don't treat them very well either. Does this show My love? Hear this truth, Beloved: Your interactions with people actually show your relationship with Me. Do you really walk in My love? Do you seek to love Me with all your heart or are you so busy with life that you don't really have time for our relationship? When you are far from me, it is easy to not think about how you're treating others, and be blinded by your own resentments. Meet with me to take a regular inventory of your own heart to see how you behave, how others may perceive you. When we meet consistently, you will become a good representative of Me and others will really know that you love them. When it comes to that difficult person for which you harbor resentment, hurt or any form of unforgiveness, think of how I love and care for you. I know that you can't love and care for people like I do but you can try. You can pray for them. Life is easier with Me for it is by abiding in Me that you can become loving and caring, even to those difficult people. Beloved, give of yourself; the cost is something I’ve already paid the best price. ~DebraDolce |
