Today I woke up and my first thought was: “this is going to suck,” rolling out of bed feeling the dread of my to-do list and not feeling 100% me.
 
As human beings we easily let this feeling affect our entire day, and as a consequence of staying in that feeling, we end up being late; we moan, groan, and complain. Why? Simply because our body and heart and mind are not in one accord, and we let that feeling take control of our entire day. That is a feeling we must retaliate against.
 
We were created to be free. We were created to feel warmth and grace and radiate His light to others in need. In reality, most of us have the “me” mentality. When everything seems to be going wrong and the day just simply cannot get any worse; how can we reverse?
Simple: Pray.
 
But what if I don’t have time in the day? The real question is Retaliation says: “When will I make the time to pray?” You don’t need a secret shelter, a prayer pillow or anything else to pray. You simply need you, yourself, and His grace.
 
So take the time to stop what you are doing and simply pray. Pray for a way to make your day great. Pray for His light to shine in you that you may shine on for others. Pray because you have faith, faith that it will be okay; faith that He is the Way, The Truth and The Light that you cannot wait to radiate.
 
Today I woke up dreading the day. The last thing I had “time” to do was pray, but I chose not to let my morning feelings get in the way. I took my time, sat down at my table and simply prayed. and today…well, today has turned out to be the best day.
 
I am who I am
Because He created me to be
Unique
Fully me
Embraced by the weight of eternity
Knowing that His Kingdom
Is my one and only freedom
My hope
His glory
Forever imploring
The endless
Boundless
Reckless
Feeling of His grace & mercy
Forever loving
Forgiving as He listens while we pray.

I had an inclination to write this for AJ one day at work. It came randomly but I also knew he was struggling and starting to feel very depressed. As a wife, we will never know the burdens our husband carries, and as a husband, he will never know the pressure we are under. No matter the pain, the pressure, or the stress you are enduring. But as a married couple, you are one, enduring together thru the same exact things – just in different ways. Marriage is teaching me to  take a step back, pray, and ask the Lord to guide my way.
He may just nudge you to say or write the right thing.
 
When you’re depressed
I’m around
When you are feeling down
Look around
Feel my presence
In this is a lesson
A lesson to drop everything
Just leave it be
Your worries are never bigger than Me
I am the only One who can meet your needs
Give them to Me
Kneel before me, all feelings pouring
It’s okay
Human nature will always get in the way
But I have created you
And it is I who will sustain you
Come to me...
Leave the pressures and your daily stressors
They may be here today, but gone tomorrow or within the hour
I have met your every need
Listen to me
Feel my presence
Time is of the essence
But timing is My message

& the birth of a baby Boy                                            wherever you go, He goes

We give & receive                                                      Seasons are changing and so are we
We wrap & we bake                                                   Each day we are closer to eternity
The feeling of warmth as our hearts partake                         an eternal life given by Him
Is a feeling of love that cannot be replaced                In a place with no evil, no more sin
 
But let us remember the real reason we celebrate    His son He did give
The birth of a Son                                                       to let us truly live
The way, The Truth, The Life                                     a life full of love
The One                                                                      a gift from above

He is the reason we dedicate this one day of the year          no present can surpass
to be filled to the brim with holiday cheer                               no gift ever outlast
The glitter, the snow                                                                the human He became
The lights all aglow                                                                  to save us from our ways


So on this special holiday 
Let us remember to also give thanks 
That one day soon you will see Him at Heaven’s gate
and thank Him, praise Him face to face

Oh, my goodness, what an inspiration our Abby is! Today’s message was written from her hospital bed. See, Abby suffers from Crohn’s Disease, a horrible disease that attacks the body viciously but one thing it can’t do is take away the spirit, the heart!

My child. I will continually revitalize you, implanting within you the passion to do what pleases Me. I even help you with your ability to live your life serving Me and doing the things that please Me. You will learn that as you come and spend time with Me, get to know Me and My heart for you.
As you read and study My Word, you see Me and you can be encouraged by all of the things I did for those people both in the Old Testament and in the New. And that is just the beginning! I have new and different things for you. As you believe My Word and declare it over your life and your desires, you will see Me work for you just as I did King David.
You can have My Spirit coursing through you, causing you to believe and speak declarations. I desire for you to stand on My Word and to proclaim it. I desire that you take down the enemy, first in your own life and then in the land I have promised you. Protect what I have given you! Guard your heart! You do all of this by speaking what My Word says. The enemy hates the words, "It Is Written," so use them much and use them often.

Come closer, My beloved…
 
Those who are motivated by the flesh only pursue what benefits themselves. But those who live by the prompting of the Holy Spirit are motivated to pursue spiritual realities. And this must be sought after by pursuing Me, by desiring the deep things of the Spirit.
 
Come, My love, come and spend time with Me. Make it a daily habit that We can spend time together so you learn My voice, My leading and where I'm taking you.
 
Before you go anywhere in the natural, I desire you to come and know what I desire in the spiritual. I have much to share with you as you make that place of giving to Me. Never let your life become so busy that there's no time for Me, for you lose your sensitivity to Me and then you are doing things in yourself. And then before you know it, My beloved, you are wore down and out. Build yourself up in your most holy faith by singing songs and hymns and spiritual songs. Dance before Me just as I sing and take delight in you. Let your love for Me spill out even as My love for you fills your heart and life.

My precious lamb, take on an entirely new way of life - a God - fashioned life, a life renewed from the inside and working itself out into your conduct as I accurately reproduce My character in you. It gives Me pleasure to watch you embrace My precepts and walk in the way to which I have called you. I love watching My character being developed in your life, releasing the habits of your old man and stepping into the new nature that I have put within you.
As you come and spend time with Me, you will learn so much, for I desire to show you things and tell you things you did not know. I desire for you to become deep, not religious, but that our relationship grows deeper, increasing your understanding of Me and helping you to walk in all of My ways.
Beloved, deep calls out to deep and I am calling out for you to step into the water, push past your own thoughts and desires and grab hold of My thoughts and My desires for this is the true way of life, the true way of success.
