Have you ever walked into a room full of people or up to a group of “friends” and feel the tension as they become quiet with your appearance? You just know they’re talking about you, right? Maybe, maybe not!  But nevertheless, it’s a horrible feeling.

What do you feel when you hear/read the word gossip?  Most people when asked that question say they don’t like it; they think it’s wrong. The funny thing is almost everyone does it…but I must say unconsciously because they’ve become immune to their own form of gossiping!
The word gossip is a noun and means: “Idle talk, rumor, especially about the personal or private affairs of another.” Hmmm, personal or private creates a conundrum with the use of social media, but still, anything we say about another, if it can’t be said in front of that same person, shouldn’t be said!
When we gossip, it says more about us than about the one we’re talking about!
Gossip is like alcohol, legal but deadly! It causes so much damage. Father, help us to live by the golden rule: If we don’t have nothing nice to say about another, let us say nothing at all.
Set a guard, O Lord, over our mouths. Help us to keep watch over the door of our lips and practice saying nothing at all unless it edifies them and glorifies you.

~Love Letter~
My warrior, My loyal love couldn't have run out, My merciful love couldn't have dried up. They're created new every morning.
 
How great is My faithfulness? My love is created new for you each day. As you come and spend time with Me, your spirit is renewed and you can be revived as you allow yourself to be enveloped by My love.
 
My love does so many things, you could not comprehend them all. But today, I desire to touch your life, to touch your needs, your pain and hurt. I am your all-in-all and with Me you can do anything. People say, "you can do anything you set your mind to," but I say you can do all things through Me because I give you strength.
 
Beloved, get away with Me and you will recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with Me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly.

I love buying new clothes, new sheets for our bed, new decorations for our home…let’s face it, I like just about anything new. There’s just something about putting on a new outfit…and feeling good in it.
Welcome to Coffee Hour with Chicklit Power and Wednesday’s Word with Trench Classes United.
If I’m honest with myself, after the newness wears off, so does the fondness diminish and I sort of become accustomed to it, not giving it near the attention I did when I first found it.
Or what about the child who just had to have the newest, latest, greatest toy…until the next one came out.
Is that just our humanness?
I was reading something the other day that made me think of this conundrum:
Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV) says: 22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; 23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
In other words, His love, His grace NEVER grows old…They are unceasing, endless, and with each new day comes a new outpour of His love and grace!
That just struck my soul the other day in such a beautiful way that though I may tire of things as the newness wears off, He never tires of me or of you; His love is NEW for me, and for you, every morning, and so is His grace! We just need to show up and receive it.
I pray that inspires your soul and comes to life in your life!

Away from our hearts                                                                    where you will bask in the sun
Crushing our dreams 
Ripping us apart slowly at the seams

He is never too early and He is never too late
Hold on to that hope
and let it permeate…all of you

My blessed child, when you come looking for Me, you WILL find Me. Yes, when you get serious about finding Me and want it more than anything else, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed. For I never disappoint! When you are disappointed, it is because you set your own thoughts as to what I said. Test to make sure it was really Me speaking. Does it line up with My Word? I will show you as you seek for Me.
I desire that you know My will and My way. Come and spend time with Me. Make time to sit in My Presence and imagine what it would be like to be with Me in Heaven, to walk the streets of gold, to be in the throne room and sing with the twenty-four elders, "Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lamb that was slain.
" Beloved, I Am the Lamb that was slain, I Am the Lion of the tribe of Judah, I Am the One seated on the throne and I Am the victorious One coming soon on the clouds with great glory.
