Faith-Filled Friday There is a difference between being concerned and consumed.
Thanks for joining us for Faith-Filled Friday with Debra Dolce and Trench Classes United. Today’s Love Letter is a great reminder that our Heavenly Father knows what concerns us; He doesn’t want it to consume us or worry us. ~Love Letter~ Don't be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-field requests before Me with overflowing gratitude. Tell Me every detail of your life; then My wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Me, Jesus Christ. This is instruction to help you stand on solid ground. When you are worried about all kinds of things, worry pulls you in different directions and you become uncertain and lost, unable to hear or sense Me. Being worried about a lot of things brings doubt to you. Did I not tell you that I would care for you? Why do you worry when I can do all things? Talk with me; I always listen to you when you talk to me. My presence will fill you with gratitude and expectation of what your Lord will do for you. When you invite me into what worries you, My peace that no one can give to you will fill you. That peace will guard your heart and keep your mind from worry. Beloved, meditate on this Word today and let it give you instruction, let it help you as you walk through these days. ~DebraDolce

Thursdays Trench Truth What do we think when we see someone act contrary to their spoken convictions,
beliefs, proclamations of faith and Christianity? I think one of the most profound forms of conviction comes out of the mouths of babes. Let me share what I mean with a little humor: Following a great sermon on lifestyle evangelism, one family thought they had better do something to be a witness for Jesus, so they invited their neighbors to dinner the following Friday night. When it came to the meal, mom was keen to show their neighbors that they upheld Christian standards in their home, so she asked her little 5-year-old son to say grace. Little Johnny was a bit shy. "I don't know what to say.” There was an awkward pause, followed by a reassuring smile from the boy's mother. "Well darling," she said, "just say what Daddy said at breakfast this morning." Obediently, the boy repeated, "Oh God, we've got those awful people coming to dinner tonight…" Oh, my goodness, may we remember that our kids, little or grown, are not only watching, listening but repeating…let’s be a mirror and not just a mouthpiece for Jesus For more encouragement, go to www.trenchclassesunited.com Be Blessed Kim-Evinda |
