Faith-Filled Friday Christmas is such a beautiful time of year…and yet, it can be a painful reminder if one is doing life alone.
Thanks so much for joining us for Faith-Filled Friday with Debra Dolce and Trench Classes United. Loneliness is a real emotion and sadly enough, if one already feels lonely in life, Christmas puts it on steroids. Debra’s love letter addresses this very thing, so if you are one of those who is filled with loneliness, may you be given strength and feel the Father’s urge to lead you to a safe place surrounded by Christ-loving people who can and will love the loneliness right out of you. ~Love Letter~ My love, two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Can you see the person or group of people I desire you to be connected to? I have a body of believers for everyone. If you're not finding one after you've done your homework, maybe you are to start one. Spend time with Me and in My Word so you may find the direction I have for you. Submit yourself to a leader and become an elder, a pillar in your community and when the time is right, I will send you out. If you've done all the things I’ve desired, then continue to be faithful until I choose to move you. Everything I've designed for you must be accomplished. I am a God of order and need you to be stable and steadfast no matter where I place you or in what ministry. Be like King David who loved being in My house and loved to worship Me. Oh that you would find the satisfaction King David did in My house. Beloved, learn to worship Me now so when you arrive in Heaven you can truly worship Me. ~Debra Dolce

Thursday Trench Truth Thanks for joining us for Thursday’s Trench Truth.
It seems we can turn this season of more Christ into a season of hurrying, scurrying, and worrying, but that’s no way to celebrate the Christ of Christmas. Considering the pandemic and all it’s taken from us, perhaps this can be the time that we truly put Christ back into Christmas by accepting His gifts of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness and self-control, because when we receive them, we are better able to give them! These are gifts that don’t need to be wrapped and placed under a tree, rather these are gifts we all can give freely! Keeping Christ at the core of Christmas Kim-Evinda Wednesday Word She sat staring at the beauty just outside her window. The mountaintops had been kissed with a light layer of snow. No breeze moved the trees; all was still and so was she…for the first time in a long time.
Thanks for joining us for Wednesday’s Word with Kim-Evinda and Trench Classes United. Have you ever found it hard to just be still and take in the beauty of creation? With Christmas so close, we can make that possibility even less of a reality, but Kim-Evinda’s blog just may encourage you in this moment to stop and let the Christ of Christmas calm you with His creation. She sat sipping her coffee, her heart filled with gratitude and sorrow at the same time, wondering, how could both of those emotions co-exist but they did. There was no denying God was all over her life as she rewound her life’s last six months. She had moved from betrayed and shattered to bewildered and healing, still somewhat fractured and disillusioned, but ready to get back in the trenches of life, even more firm in her faith. Everywhere she turned in her newly furbished and furnished home was a reminder that God had NEVER left her, even through the worst betrayal of her life. He had proved Himself faithful. He had been carrying her and without realizing it, He had set her down ever so gently, keeping her safe and protected from the whirlwind of gutting and remodelling of this home, out of harm’s way from her own need of vengeance and even wanting to understand the why of it all. She realized she was ready to heal, to move forward and embrace whatever God had for her. She knew that being ready to heal didn’t mean it still wouldn’t hurt, but her Healer would be the one to lessen that pain, not anyone or anything else. She didn’t even cringe with pain as she realized Christmas was just a couple of weeks ahead. She’d get thru it, just like she did Thanksgiving, focusing on what she had, focusing on all He had done instead of what/who she didn’t have and all that still needed to be done. Yes, the Christ of Christmas kept giving her gifts that inspired her to want to give them to others, the gifts of grace, gentleness and goodness, gifts that didn’t need wrapping and placed under a tree, but gifts that must remain unwrapped, not hidden to keep on giving. Friend, there’s something about knowing that you’ve been carried by the Father thru a tumultuous time that helps you to rise and soar as if on wings of an eagle. If you are in the midst of one of those times, can I encourage you, hold out your arms, like a child, and let Him lift you up; He will carry you. Love, Kim-Evinda P.S. This is sort of an update on my SOAR (Season of Adultery Recovery) blogs and upcoming podcast…stay tuned and thanks for caring. Tuesday Trench Truth Thanks for joining us for Tuesday’s Trench Truth

When you constantly feel like you are not enough? How do you keep pushing through When you feel as though you have nothing to gain and everything to lose? Well, I will tell you You have big shoes So take little steps And many deep breaths Run too fast and you'll trip Don't move it all And you'll never fall But fall my friend This isn't the end You have hit a brick wall You feel as though your life has completely stalled You're trapped in your mind Where fear taunts and it hides But your life This time Is one of a kind Don't take your seconds for granted Remember where your feet are planted Your weary eyes Your tired soul Can only revive When you realize and know That the battle in your mind Is deeper than what's inside So plant firm And root deep If it is wisdom you seek Stand tall And grow slow If you want to reach your God given destiny Put on love And release Every negative thought Replacing calamity With pure inner peace That can only be granted When you come face to face And meet The hidden dark places The corners Filled with glass from broken vases Shatter them all And fall "Fall into Me" He whispers softly But the voices around Are so drowning So loud How can you find peace When you have no place to retreat? Be where you are Plant firm Root deep Close your eyes And breathe This This is only temporary This life is but a vapor And I pray your desire is to live it out much greater But you must be willing to fight To gain every last drop of time Be wise Be kind And never lose sight of the enemy outside You have the power to decide Will you fill the big shoes Or are you too dismayed to lose? My darling, what lies ahead, is up to you. Abigail Faith-Filled Friday Why do we tend to lose our way and be tossed here and there when big waves of challenge come upon us? Could it be that we forget greater is He that is in us than he who is in the world?
Thanks for joining us for Faith-Filled Friday with Debra Dolce and Trench Classes United. What a great reminder thru this Love Letter that we don’t have to do ANYTHING alone! Love Letter~ My blessed child, the Holy Spirit is poured out upon you through the revelation and power of faith! It is an awesome thing when you realize the helper, the Holy Spirit has been poured out into your life to strengthen you and to help you walk through each and every day. The Holy Spirit gives you creative ideas and the ability to accomplish the ideas. When you keep trying to overcome something in your own strength again and again, stop, ask the Holy Spirit for a fresh idea, for a creative idea, one that He can empower you to accomplish. I don't want you to struggle with the same things over, and over again. I desire you to have victory in every area of your life. When things come up against you, come and spend time with Me so you can receive a better way to deal with them. Some are just disciplines you need to walk through but I can help you. Beloved, remember I am your way-maker, the all sufficient One. ~DebraDolce Thursday Trench Truth It’s time for a little giggle with Thursday’s Trench truth where we pull truth from humor.
An atheist and his Christian friend were hanging out one day and the atheist complained to his friend, almost as if he were resentful. He said: "You Christians have your special holidays, such as Christmas and Easter. Jews celebrate their national holidays, such as Passover and Yom Kippur. But we atheists have no recognized national holidays. It's unfair discrimination." His Christian friend replied matter-of-factly, "Why don't you celebrate April first?" Oh, my with the battle of good and evil going on right before our eyes, how can one not recognize the reality of the necessity of a Loving God, A Higher Power, a Sovereign Savior…yes, this is the time to check what you believe…without resentments. Thanks for joining us for Wednesday’s Word with Kim-Evinda and Trench Classes United. Have you ever confused forgetting with forgiving? Today’s blog is written for such a time as this. She turned her laptop on and opened her Word program and then stopped. Her trauma therapist’s words echoed in the hallway of her soul: “True forgiveness is considering the cost; what did their action cost you?” When she thought of all that it had cost her and she waited for the anger, resentment and hurt to crush her as it had in the past, but none of those familiar emotions swept her away to that dark place. The pain and sorrow still were there but no longer held her captive. She realized that while she would never forget, she was ready to forgive. There were so many revelations she had picked up along the way to get to this point. She listed them in her mind before proceeding with the letter. Forgiveness is not something to be rushed Forgiveness is not a magic eraser, wiping the act or actions away from the memory Forgiveness is not acceptance of the act or actions that require forgiveness Forgiveness is not ignoring the act or actions that require forgiveness Because she understood what it wasn’t, she was able to see more clearly what forgiveness is: Freedom…freedom to let go of the many misperceptions that keep one emotionally imprisoned, freedom to continue to forgive every time a memory rises to the surface or a trigger pulls on the heartstrings, freedom to set boundaries to encourage healing and prevent continued trauma, freedom to do what God does for us every single time we ask: FORGIVE. Yes, she finally realized that holding on to anger, resentment and the pain and sorrow were costing her all these freedoms, and that’s not the way her Father wanted her to live; He wanted her to live forgiven and forgiving. She typed her letter to her sister-in-law in a matter of minutes, read it over and wherever there was a check in her Spirit, she made changes. Satisfied, she sent it to the printer. Now all she had to do was send it. Friend, is there someone you haven’t forgiven for something? I’d love to hear from you; maybe we could encourage each other on in this journey of forgiveness. Forgiven and forgiving, Kim-Evinda Tuesday Trench Truth Thanks for joining us to get your giggle on and a little truth, too! 😊
A Jewish lady named Mrs. Rosenberg was stranded late one night at a fashionable resort - one that did not admit Jews. It was late at night and when she went in and spoke to the person at the front desk, the clerk looked down at his book and said, "Sorry, no room. The hotel is full." The Jewish lady said, "But your sign says that you have vacancies." The desk clerk stammered and then said curtly, "You know that we do not admit Jews. Now if you will try the other side of town..." Mrs. Rosenberg became noticeably irritated and said, "I'll have you know I converted to your religion." The desk clerk said, "Oh, yeah, let me give you a little test. How was Jesus born?" Mrs. Rosenberg replied, "He was born to a virgin named Mary in a little town called Bethlehem." "Very good," replied the hotel clerk. "Tell me more." Mrs. Rosenberg replied, "He was born in a manger." "That's right," said the hotel clerk. "And why was he born in a manger?" Mrs. Rosenberg said loudly, "Because a jerk like you in the hotel wouldn't give a Jewish lady a room for the night!" Oh my goodness, prejudices of any kind are not of God for His Word said that He was born, lived, died and rose again that we all could be permitted into the greatest room ever imagined, heaven😊 For more encouragement, take a tour at www.trenchclassesunited.com and check out our upcoming relationship class! For one last moment One last touch? A lot, I presume To let go of that feeling Of being trapped in an iron box No way in and no way out The keys at the bottom of the ocean and the only way to find them Is simply to drown So drown it out Every thought Every sound The negative talk That swarms around Feeding your soul Until it seeps into your bones Where do you go? I pray you go home I pray you find the light In the darkest of nights I pray you find His Sword and continue to fight I pray you let go and continue to die Die to yourself This flesh This worldly life The beasts of the field They gnarl They bite Attacking on all sides and at the bottom of the ocean There you will find The key to all hope lost The key to unlock His mystery divine His name Holy Ghost The gentle nudges The quiet whispers When the battle is raging Stop Breathe and listen This is the moment He has prepared you for Now walk Walk through that door The box is unlocked The chains have been broken The past is merely a moment A chapter in your story and now He gets the glory What would you give to feel that freedom? What would it be like to see the wind and touch the rain? In the midst of the storm You dance In the darkest of nights You shine Everything you've lost Everything you've given up Every turn you have taken Every heart you felt breaking Led you here Now take that key and be free. “For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world the He [even] gave up His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) But have eternal (everlasting) life.” - John 3:16 ~Abigail |
