Monday MessageTo find the beauty in the pain
The glory in the mundane Every day Saving grace Is easy to say But we anticipate and we wait For something to change For something to move For better news A larger view An ocean filled with blue Sunshine and clear skies But why? Why not just look up? See that what you have What you are given Is more than enough The blessings they will come and once He fills your cup Let it run Let it overflow Seeping light Into those you know and the strangers you don't Let His Glory be seen You and I We are here to fill the in between The in between time Of beyond this life Where we will find Our true glory Our true grace Knowing that all we have done To endure this race Was worth the slow The steady pace There is no need to hurry No need to worry For He owns every inch Every single cent Every small freckle On the sun kissed cheeks of your skin So, darling, I am begging you Do not give in Even when you feel as though you are drowning He is there His love abounding Wrapping you in warmth Wanting you to know that all you need is Him His love Pure joy and while you wait In this season of dismay Know that those sorrows Will no longer be pain For this light momentary affliction Is for a future of gain So give and let give All you have to do is look up and let His light in. "Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure-pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.” Luke 6:38 -Abigail Rice
