A Pure Heart Prevents Resenting

Thanks so much for joining me today for Thursday’s Truthful Humor where laughter comes first and then a little truth follows.
 
So why do we do what we do for whom we do it? This little joke begs this question:
 
There were 11 people hanging on to a rope that came down from a helicopter. Ten were men and one woman.
      
They all decided that one person should get off because if they didn't, the rope would break, and everyone would die. No one could decide who should go.
 
Well, the woman gave a really touching speech on how she would give up her life to save the others, because women were used to giving up things for their husbands and children and giving in to men.
      
All of the men started clapping.
 
It is a well-known fact that women wear a lot of hats, but so do men. See, women have more words…and use them, and I don’t know about you, but sometimes I can make it known in my house that I’m sacrificing or doing this and doing that…but when I remember to do all that I’m doing for Him, suddenly the giving gets easier and resentment leaves.
