Wednesday Word She had come back to the table to feast on His Word, eager to continue from where she had left off. It’s that time of year where we will gather with family and friends to share a Thanksgiving feast. Today’s blog is a great reminder of cultivating thankfulness in the heart and life daily so we too can be counted as bless-ed. She was ready to dive into the Beatitudes found in Matthew 5, but she didn’t get far. When she read a Biblical definition for the word bless-ed, (emphasis on the two syllables, versus blessed). Her heart was pierced with hope and conviction at the same time. Bless-ed: “The experience of hope and joy independent of outward circumstances.” “How does one get there,” she wondered aloud. She felt a stirring to continue reading, knowing that He would provide the answer if she brought a willing heart to the table. Matthew 5:3: “Bless-ed are the poor in spirit…” she stopped. She knew from feeding her faith for all these years that He wasn’t talking about anything monetarily. She began to write what He was speaking to her with so few words: This has more meaning to me now; I used to think it had to do with the poor, the not-so lucky, but now I see so much more. It’s being willing to give when others would take; to love when others turn to hate. To not repay evil for evil. To stay in the process of healing is to be poor in spirit, trusting that He will right what’s been done wrong. This is the way to become part of the kingdom of heaven. She sat there, thankful for the relief from her ongoing anger and confusion from events in her life over the last three+ years. Feasting at His table is where she would find her rest and her growth all at the same time. Friend, can I encourage you in this upcoming busy season to feast at His table daily that you would be able to accomplish much without being stressed because you are bless- ed, and experience hope and joy independent of outward experiences. Love, Kim-Evinda

Tuesday Trench Truth In my SOAR, (season of adultery recovery), I am learning just how
progressively sexual our culture is. Yes, today’s truth is about sex! Being single at any age is no easy feat, especially in an ever-growing progressively sexual culture. When I ask men (names anonymous) what they think the Bible says about sex, I’ve heard some astounding opinions and thoughts, from, well the Bible is outdated to, well, yeah, it says to save yourself for marriage, but you’ve already been married, so…” God, in His Sovereignty, confirmed thru a message within days of hearing these thoughts His why for creating sex and the how/why of sex:
Can I encourage you friend to not treat the Bible as irrelevant in such a relevant subject of your life as sex? Thoughtfully, Kim-Evinda Monday Message Have you ever watched a battlefield scene in a movie and found yourself
rooting for a certain character, or a certain group of characters? Thanks so much for joining us for Monday’s Message with Abigail Rice and Trench Classes United. Today’s poetic message I can just hear in a sort of rap song, reminds us that the mind is a battlefield but…When we look up and remember Who can lead us to victory, we can make our escape…safely. Messy heart Messy home Where is my abode? Where is my love? My light that once shone? I no longer know and I pray and I seek Trying to believe In that girl I used to be But no longer is she Dead and gone Sayonara So long For this isn’t a fairy song But a battle that rages on Tired For so long So tired So wrong Buried deep In the day to day Forgetting the reason I even pray Giving up Giving in To pockets of bliss Momentary sin As I tear down this temple of His No longer a place the Holy Spirit desires to live At least that’s what i tell myself As my mind races and spins From confusion To doubt To anger and shouts What is this even for or about? I give up I give in Down on my knees Praying again For something other than this cup I’ve been given and I look up at the full moon in the sky Shining bright no matter the hour of the night and wonder why? Phasing through every season and cycle of life It still shines Because it’s gift Is light Not power or might But simply to shine Reminding us all That our God is the God that holds time Nothing on this earth Of value or of worth Has ever been mine But given to me By the One True Vine For He is all power All glory All might Loving me still through This dark cloud covered nights “And I thought how [gloriously and honorably] I would set you among My children and give you a pleasant land, a goodly heritage, the most beautiful and best [inheritance] among all the nations! And I thought you would call Me My Father and would not turn away from Me…A voice is heard on the bare heights, the weeping and pleading of the sons of Israel, because they have perverted their ways, they have [eagerly] forgotten the Lord their God. Return, O faithless sons, [says the Lord, and] I will heal your faithlessness. [And they answer] Behold, we come to You, for You are the Lord our God.” - Jeremiah 3:19,21-22 Faith-Filled Friday Have you experienced observing someone close to you searching,
wondering and wandering for purpose? Thanks for joining us for Faith-Filled Friday with Debra Dolce and Trench Classes United. While we are not to be everyone’s answer for their own purpose, we each have a part in helping others find their purpose. ~Love Letter~ My warrior, don't allow yourself to be weary in planting good seeds, for the season of reaping the wonderful harvest you've planted is coming! This is good instruction and one I continually call you to. Remember I am with you always and that should give you the incentive and strength to do good. So many of your brothers and sisters are struggling, in the physical, emotional, in their finances; and some are starving for fellowship with other believers. You would be surprised how many people, even in My church, are lonely. Look for ways to come alongside them, to be observant for opportunities to do good. Maybe all you can do is pray; then be very diligent in your praying and the needs of others will be met because of your diligence. Only the seeds you plant will be what your harvest produces, some thirty, some sixty and some a hundredfold. You can and will increase as you give of yourself, your time, and your money. You should be excited to see what returns to you, sometimes at the most unexpected times and in the most unexpected ways. Beloved, I am full of love and compassion that I desire to lavish upon My children. ~DebraDolce Thursdays Trench Truth Our understanding of His sovereignty in and through all circumstances must be
accompanied by our understanding of His characteristics: loving, merciful, long- suffering, to name a few. What characteristics of God have you experienced today? What if we were to think on those experienced characteristics in and thru the tough times? See, challenges, tough times may shake our faith IN Him, but they don’t shake His love for us. Truthfully, Kim-Evinda PS- I'd like to wish my amazing granddaughter Tyler Burton an incredibly happy 14th birthday. Nana loves you immensely! Wednesday Word Lord, speak to me through Your Word; open up the eyes of my heart and
help me hear you. She reached for her Bible, headed for Matthew 18 to review what she had been reading and studying…but He had other plans. Have you ever been stopped in the midst of a thought process and taken down a different road? Today’s blog is a great reminder that when we invite Him into our time of reading His Word, He shows up quietly but powerfully. (Jeremiah 18:3b-4) “There He was, making something at the wheel. 4 And the vessel that He made of clay was marred” … With the words came a pictured revelation: she was the vessel…marred by betrayal, scarred by the taunting that had persisted for three years leading to her now ex-husband abandoning the covenant he had made 17+ years prior. She continued to read: “--while in His hands.” The vision she saw brought tears of sadness and gratefulness simultaneously. She saw Him holding her back when it started and felt Him holding her even now. She sat in that peaceful revelation for a few moments and as the picture became even more clear, the long-awaited and silently-searched-for answer popped like the most beautiful explosion of color that she had ever seen or experienced. This divine moment dawned like an incredible majestic sunrise and as she continued to read: “--and so He made it again into another vessel.” She now understood, and His whisper confirmed, that it wasn’t His will for it to have ended the way it did, for her to have endured all that she had for three+ years, however, {emphasis added] while it was going on, He was holding her…oh, so close…and when others’ choices had taken place, He set about refining her thru it, protecting her, providing for her, and preparing her for whatever was to come next. This whisper of understanding filled her with a never-before-experienced kind of love that kept her and would continue to keep her in her Father’s hand. Friend, the truth is everything that happens to us goes thru our Father’s hand; however, only He has the power to right what was done wrong to us if we remain in His hand, on The Potter’s wheel. Love, Kim-Evinda Tuesday Trench Truth There are usually three reasons our faith-legs become wobbly in the journey:
I. The mistaken thought that life should be easy or easier, that God will prevent and/or protect us from tragedies that affect us and those we love. II. We don’t understand His sovereignty, so we lose confidence in His ability to get us through any tragedy. III. We have no concept of our identity in Him and our value to Him! I pray these truths soak into your soul and are lived out in your life. Love, Kim-Evinda Monday Message Unglued…to be separated from that which you are glued to…
Thanks for joining us for Monday’s Message with Abigail Rice and Trench Classes United. What is it you do when you feel like things are falling apart, or nothing’s going the way you thought it would? Do you become unglued from Him who is in ultimate control? Today’s message is a great reminder of our human condition…and His love for us despite us. I am incomplete and I can’t compete With the voices and the thoughts That pull me in and drag me on Making me believe This life isn’t meant for me Un-whole Incomplete Who would want Or even dare to love The likes of me? The dark parts Hidden in my heart That I’ve been waiting to be removed But too little Too late and I’ve come unglued Letting them hinder My every move What’s the use? To be bright To be clean Seems to me A farfetched dream No longer is she The joyful girl she used to be and I hold on to this small string Of hope As i muster the strength To believe this is God’s way Of refining me and renewing me Into the creation He only knows and He only sees That future version of me Pure white With a soul that shines That girl is there and that woman is me If I can just hold on To this hope and choose to believe In a God that only has goodness and mercy for me. Zechariah 13:9 KJV And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God. Malachi 3:2 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition 2 But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire and like fullers’ soap; 1 Corinthians 3:13 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition The work of each [one] will become [plainly, openly] known (shown for what it is); for the day [of Christ] will disclose and declare it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test and critically appraise the character and worth of the work each person has done. Faith-Filled Friday Have you ever done something for someone only to feel like you’re the one who got the
blessing? Thanks for joining us for Faith-Filled Friday with Debra Dolce and Trench Classes United. Today’s love letter is a reminder that keeping close to Christ brings out a kindness that keeps on giving and makes life worth living. Love Letter~ My love, if anyone drinks the living water I give them, they will never be thirsty again. For when you drink the water I give you, it becomes a gushing fountain of the Holy Spirit, flooding you with endless life! Come and drink of Me. When you come closer to Me, spending time with Me and studying My Word, then the Holy Spirit will flood you and you can walk the same walk and do the same things I did. To be a blessing to others is such a blessing. There are so many in need all around you. Some may be secretly hurting in your own house or family. Are you sensitive to those closest to you? Do you look for ways to encourage, even strengthen others? When you put My Word into practice you are a living epistle, known and read by all. You have the wonderful opportunity to influence everyone you come in contact with. Now that's exciting? When you spend time with Me each day, you'll be all geared up to go out and make a difference all around you. Beloved, the lives you touch will in turn touch others, and others… ~DebraDolce Thursdays Trench Truth Last week I touched on the difference between being angry at God versus with God,
which is at denotes a distance from God while with reveals closer to Him. But let me take that a step further today and go into some reasons we become angry at God: There are usually three reasons for anger directed at God:
