Monday Message In a fast-paced microwave kind of world, we have a hard time waiting for
things, don’t we? Thanks for joining us for Monday’s Message with Abigail Rice and Trench Classes United. Today’s poem is a great reminder of what to do in the waiting room of prayer. To be baptized by Your fire Is my soul’s true desire Holy Spirit consume me Lend me Your strength and grant me Your power Why, you ask, would I desire Something so dire? To bask in Your presence Shekinah Yahweh I am ready to fight But my heart is suited up These walls they can’t break Until Your Holy Spirit takes His place In my heart In my arms The tingling sensation Of becoming one in Your nation With my sword I cut through Every lie of the enemy and every attempt to tempt me Knowing my family and generation is watching and depending on me To close every door Of curses that lure and enter our hearts In a web of deceit Making us not believe That our Father in heaven Is more than ready and willing To be our escape Our saving grace and by the blood of His Son We become one Of His children His sheep Mild and meek Eating our bread From the palm of His hand Because we asked He said: “Behold, I will send forth upon you What My Father has promised; but remain in the city Until you are clothed with power from on high.” Luke 24:49 and all we must do is ask and believe Wait and receive
