To all the mamas:

If all you did today was love your baby
You did enough
If all you did today was say a prayer
In hopes it got somewhere
You did enough

We worry so much about getting it all done
About accomplishing at all
Constantly on the run
Always on the go
Life happens
Things "pop-up"
and it seems as though we can never be enough
We toughen up
Put on this exterior like we are the only one
But we aren't
Yes, we are soldiers
But we are never alone

Those tears you cry when you feel helpless inside
He sees right through those
And I pray you feel His might
The power of His hands
Gently laying across your back
Asking you to please give Him your burdens
Release your worries when you feel under constant attack
You are more than a mother
More than a soldier
You are His daughter
And He has a love for you like no other


I pray you feel that love today and every day
To be filled with His light and radiate the goodness inside
Wake up the Spirit that brings you joy and happiness in life
Let today be the start of something new
A new outlook, a better view
You may be thrown a curveball or two
But there is no one earth like you
and if all you do today is give your baby a hug
You have done enough
Relish in His love.
