In order to live, we must die…to self

Faith-Filled Friday

I remember when I finally understood what it meant to die to flesh…what a real eye opener. When we think of death, we usually don’t have pleasant or feel-good feelings, but, when we understand this principle of dying to flesh, then we can really begin living.

~Love Letter~
 
My dear one, let Me make this clear: a single grain of wheat will never be more than a single grain of wheat unless it drops into the ground and dies. Because then it sprouts and produces a great harvest of wheat–all because one grain died.
 
When you understand this and walk in this truth, then you will walk in My ways. It is a moment-by-moment choice to walk in the life of denying yourself. For My Light to be manifested in and through you, there must be more of Me and less of you. So, like the seed that falls into the ground and dies so you must die to the desires of the world and its many entitlements.
 
Let your desires be for Me and what I have for you. You will be so blessed with what I have for you as you lay your life down for Me. As you live your life for Me, you will begin to sprout and produce a harvest which produces a love and a satisfaction that cannot be found anywhere else.
 
When you walk in My ways and accept the plan I have for you, then you will know joy that cannot be explained. Beloved, I have a plan that is for good, to bring you a future and a hope.
