see? Are you pleased with who you’ve become?

Who is the old you v. who is the new?  
The past version of you is insecure and incomplete 
Your reality worn down and bleak  
But new you  
This version of you  
Is confident in who she is to become  
Is greater than she was  
or ever imagine she could be  
Because she is a daughter of The King  
and she lives fearlessly  
Because she is chosen  
Whole and complete 
Not broken like she used to be  
No more self-inflicted defeats  
While her wounds may run deep  
As she heals  
She creates this new reality  
One where she is allowed to mess up and learn from her mistakes 
and crooked ways  
Because she knows where to turn to make the path straight  
Yahweh  
Now breathe  
and come home  
Allow your soul to roam  
and always know  
You are free  
You are whole  
You are loved  
You are loyal  
You are from above  
Now take back your soul 
Stay true to your bones  
Your Maker loves you  
and just wants you to know  
You are done  
You have won  
Now breathe  
and come home  
and when the next battle comes  
You’ll be stronger than before  
Because you won’t go back there anymore  
But for now just be free 
and soar
