Thursday Trench Truth
The other day I had an opportunity to practice integrity. I was at Pet Co getting some things for our trip to Florida, including a new girly collar after a horrendous haircut. The cashier rang me up and right away, I thought that’s not enough…but I ignored it. I paid the bill, got the receipt, and hurried out the door.
I had two of my grandchildren with me…and when we got in the car, I looked at the receipt and saw that not only had she not charged me for the Greenies but also the girly collar wasn’t on there, either. I told my granddaughter, “I feel like I need to go back in there; they didn’t charge me for the greenies.”
Her affirmation was a great reminder of intentional integrity.
My blessing…a thank you from one of the managers for my honesty…and my own peace of mind.
Integrity is absodarnlutely intentional!
