So many problems we can’t seem to solve
The day starts to get hazy
Our minds tend to go crazy
 
Grasping for air
Can’t seem to breathe
Far beyond your picture perfect reality
Just sink
Sink into Him
Let go
Let ease
 
Living in a land full of prosperity
Yet we can’t seem to grasp the posterity
Worrying about what’s next
Blaming the press
Becoming more than obsessed
Obsessed with worldly desires
Sleeping in
But still so tired
 
Tired of living to survive
Just getting by
No means to truly thrive
Prosper and prayer
They coincide
When’s that last time you really closed your eyes?
 
Shut down
For just one minute
Pause the music
Pursue the lucid
Close your eyes
Say a prayer
And give God all that is on your mind
