Faith-Filled Friday What comes to mind when you think about “debt”?
Thanks for joining us for Faith-Filled Friday with Debra Dolce and Trench Classes United. Debt usually has a not-so positive “feel” to it, right? if your budget conscious, you may be one that works hard to get out of debt. Today’s Love Letter talks about a different type of debt, one that was paid long ago but one that we need to keep on paying…the debt of love. ~Love Letter~ Don't owe anything to anyone, except your outstanding debt to continually love one another, for the one who learns to love has fulfilled every requirement of the law. Meditate on this Word and let the words, "outstanding debt" impress upon you the importance of love. For the one who learns to love has fulfilled every requirement of the law. Sometimes you must practice this more than at other times. There are some people that seem to make it hard to love them, but this is where you get to practice, this is where you get to put others above yourself. Now that's a whole new concept. It's easy to put some above yourself but not everyone. Some people you must talk yourself into acting lovingly until it becomes natural. They are in your family, they are in your church, they are everywhere you go, but so am I. I am there to help you; after all, didn’t I love you before you could receive love or give love? Haven't I taught you how to receive love? Have I taught you how to give love? Why do you get to choose who you will love and who you won't? I love everyone, there is no discrimination in My love, why is there in yours? Beloved, remember Scripture says that they will know you by your love, they will know that you are Mine. ~DebraDolce
