Wednesday Word As she threw Aniesi her shoe again, captivated by her childlike playfulness,
a thought struck her gently but profoundly: as long as I do this first, after my quiet time but before the rest of my to-do’s, she is so much better as far as behavior. She goes the distance with me while I’m on the record working. Thanks for joining us for Wednesday’s Word with Kim-Evinda and Trench Classes United for a simple but significant spiritual truth. She smiled as she watched her fur baby run back and forth and back and forth again, dropping the shoe at her feet with the hope and anticipation of it being thrown again. And with each throw, a simple but significant spiritual truth surfaced from her soul, causing her to smile with recognition: God waits for us, in anticipation, to greet Him each morning and begin our day with Him so as not to do life without Him. And when we do this, the days just get better. Experiencing this with her inner being was another solidifier of this Biblical principle. A word study on the word resolve that she had done years prior sealed this truth. The root word “reso” means to partner with The Holy Spirit. In other words, we don’t have to do live without Him, not one day of it, not one circumstance, not one challenge or trial. We just need to remember Who our ever-present partner is, He who is greater, our Creator, who says that He sent His Spirit to be our partner, to guide us, comfort us, laugh with us, cry with us and just love us to and through this journey of life. When we live this truth, seeking Him because we know with our inner being that He is present, no matter what is going wrong, we are able to trust He will make it all right. Friend, it’s hard to put into words the simple significance of this spiritual principle so may I encourage you to just try it – invite Him into your day, each day – and experience with your inner being Him in your outer world. Love, Kim-Evinda
