How do we live a life with an eternal perspective? Gosh, I wish that it was as easy as taking the “x” out of external!

My warrior, it seems as though everyone else is busy seeking what is best for themselves instead of the things that are most important to Me, your Lord Jesus Christ.
 
How about you? Are you all about you, your desires, your goals, or your accomplishments? Do you give Me little Snippets of time here and there so others won't think you're a fanatic?
 
I was single-minded when I came and died for your sins. I was full of zeal to be constantly talking about God and the Kingdom of Heaven, showing you the way. Self-centeredness is the road to destruction. Study the lives of the Apostles, the zeal they had, even unto death.  Read of those who were more concerned about themselves.
 
Remember how I talked about servanthood and the importance of it. Come and spend time with Me, let Me show you areas that you can let go of. Bring to Me the areas of pride and arrogance that you may be set free. Only the things you do for the Kingdom will last. Beloved, remember the first will be last.
