Where do you feel the safest?

United. Today’s message is a great reminder that it is in His presence that we find the
peace that unties the knots of struggles in our life.

Peace
What peace could bring
If we could only open up our eyes to see
What satisfaction and peace really means
We look to things
Of this world
and who or what we are doing it all for
When in reality
True peace
Can only come
From the King of Kings
Communion
Relationship
A safe place to untangle it
All the thoughts
All the doubts
All the questions of what this life is even about
We want the house
We want the wows
When deep down
The emptiness is loud
and we wonder why we feel no joy
We wonder why we feel so drained
Exhausted
We complain
Playing this same old game
Of who to blame
Look around
Look down
Look inside
Asking God to open your eyes
In the crevices
You hide
Seeking to please
Realizing this was not how it was meant to be
Communion
Peace
Lies within the breath
Of our God
and Our King
The one who sent His Son
To die to have a relationship
With you
and with me
Open your eyes now darling
Feel the love that hums
and the peace that sings
As you rest beneath the shadow
Of His almighty wings
