Thursday's Trench TruthWelcome to Thursday’s Trench Truth which also has a bit of humor but before I share, I wanted to let you know, especially those who have asked for this, that I’m beginning to prepare for a podcast and we are working on a title. This weekly podcast will touch on every aspect you can think of in relationships – and no, I’m no expert, just a transparent person God’s using to share life’s relational experiences. We will cover ground that people want covered but don’t know how to walk it let alone talk about it. So if that’s something you’d be interested in, would you hit the like button after you hear this and we’ll share more with you about what you can expect.
Okay, so on with our trench truth. A woman goes for a Covid-19 test while her husband waits at home and nervously awaits the results. Two days later, the test result comes back as positive. The doctor said to her husband, "The result of the test is positive but unfortunately, we've had your wife's test confused with someone else's. We're not sure if your wife has Covid-19 or dementia." "What should I do?" asks her husband. The doctor replies, "Take her out for a very long walk, then abandon her there. If she finds her way back home, don't let her in". Some examples of other things we may fear that we really can’t see and oftentimes don’t even recognize their power over and in our lives: 1. Fear of abandonment by someone close to us 2. Fear of failure 3. Fear of success 4. Fear of looking foolish 5. Fear of poverty. If you had a check in your heart as I read any of these, then perhaps you will want to join us for our next trench, Living Fearlessly. Click on the link to find out more. Oh, and if you would be interested in our podcast coming soon, hit the like button and we’ll be in touch! Fearlessly, Kim-Evinda
