What do you think of when you read the word surrender?
Thanks for joining us for Faith-Filled Friday with Debra Dolce and Trench Classes United. If you were to ask yourself this question, what would your answer be? Many view surrendering as losing, but for those of us in the “Faith journey,” we have learned that to surrender spiritually means to win. Debra’s love letter talks about this, from the Father’s heart to hers to yours.
My dear one, laying your life down in tender surrender before Me, the Lord will bring life, prosperity, and honor as your reward. What a wonderful promise for you.
There is another promise that says no one leaves behind anything that I don't repay one hundred times over. No matter what it is, you can never out-give Me. Don't find yourself thinking you've done some extravagant thing, for that is arrogance, especially in light of what I gave up to come and die for you.
Count yourself blessed that you can make sacrifices for Me and for the Kingdom. There may come a time and now is where believers all over the world are being martyred for serving Me. Where would you stand if your life was threatened? Could you honestly stand for Me and die? For some it wouldn't be a problem, those who have already surrendered and sacrificed all. But there are those that want a cushy life and don't want to deny themselves anything. How can you be a warrior and want everything your way? Impossible! You must be steadfast, immovable, and work enthusiastically for Me, the Lord your God.
Beloved, come to Me laying down all that you are and you will never be disappointed.
