Teaching Moments Are Where The Rewards Are

In God’s economy, nothing is wasted. To remember that in the midst of a teaching moment, a trial or tragedy…this is active faith.
 
Thanks for joining us for Monday’s Message with Abigail Rice and Trench Classes United. Today’s message is a great reminder that nothing goes wasted and there is always something beautiful to pick out from the painful lessons in life.
 
Always expect something
This is what I have learned,
Said the toad,
That something is to come out of every situation
Not to harm you
But to teach you
Or reward you
But
The true heroes understand the teaching moment
Is the where the real reward is
When you know your prince will come
Maybe not shining
Looking like all the other ones
No, but different
Like this perfect painted picture
As you ponder
And wonder
All with assumption
That this
This is golden
A rare unfolding moment
Where you fall to your knees
Amidst strife
Terror
And agony
And thank the Lord, God
For this moment of peace
Where you and He
Finally meet
At the crossroads of adversity & blessing
You break free
For this moment in time is one that can’t compete
To the everyday lies
And mindless media feed
We all have been asleep
Like sheep we have been led astray (Isaiah 53:6)
And is up to us to discern
The tides at bay
Where will we go?
Who will we follow?
Will we swallow our pride and move with stealth and light?
Knowing that in those brief moments
Are rare teaching lessons
That turn into blessings
Flowing over
As it boils
Out from the top
Our rare true breed
Mixed together like seeds
Set out on a task
That no man can succeed
