Here we go…into 2019. Do you ever notice that the older we get, the faster time flies? Oh, friend, I pray that we all enjoy the ride.
Your ride has already begun; we’re headed into the New Year
Will you stay seat-belted in His love to face whatever comes without fear
Thru the twists and turns and the ups and downs too
Will you allow Him to take the reins and see you thru
When the road gets bumpy, will you cling to His grace
Knowing it’s what will you bring you face to face with…

And when you head down some uncertain territory
Will you seek answers from the world or seek His glory
Will you dare to go against the world’s calling
Clinging to Him who will prevent you from falling
Will you allow Him to change or take whatever has to go
To experience with your inner being, and know that you know…

As I look back on lessons I’ve learned and unlearned
One thing I can say for sure, one thing I have yearned
Is more of Him, more time with Him one on one
