Come as you are
Accepting His grace
But don’t leave this place
Without realizing the challenges you will face
Be equipped
Be ready
This life is unsteady
The arrows
They’ll shoot
But your shield
Will not move
The Spirit inside you
is here to guide you
Standing in front of and behind you
While the enemy
He lies to you
Telling you
You are unworthy
You are weak
Feet unsteady
But you put on the shoes of peace and your mind is at ease
The enemy, he trembles at his knees
Because you believe
Believe in something bigger
Believe you are a winner
A child of God
With faith so strong
You know exactly where you belong
So come as you are
But don’t leave as you are
Put on the full armor of God
For this journey is lifelong
“Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, HAVING GIRDED YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH, and HAVING PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, and having shod YOUR FEET WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
