Monday’s MessageAnother month comes to a close
Flies by Slipping under our nose And I stand on my toes As I reach for who knows… A place I cannot see and of only You Only me and as I pray I feel Your peace Bending my knees I seek only Thee and I pray for my own humanly needs To place my mind in a feeling of ease and then I think of those in lesser situations than me How do they cope? How do they breathe? When life throws stone Who truly bleeds? And I pray that my path leads me to Thee A place where the branch Meets the Oak tree For I am at a place Where there is no escape No left or right turn Just a slow steady burn So let that burn be Thy work Let us be laborers But not only that To go out and create Step up to bat For the laborers are few And this harvest we must reap For someday soon There will be no more you No more me Just our souls Cadencing “Then He said to His disciples, the harvest is indeed plentiful, But the laborers are few. So pray to the Lord of the harvest To force out and thrust laborers into His harvest.” – Matthew 9:37-38 -Abigail Rice For more from our author, visit instagram.com/ajourney2life
