To be marked by His love is to be saved by His Grace

Monday’s Message

When He comes back
Will you be singing?
Will you be leading?
Or will you turn your back
Running far away
Until you reach the break of day
And as you slow to a walk
And your heart begins to turn to salt
Then will you be swayed
To change your ways
In hopes of being saved?
 
Too little too late
Your bed has been made
And on this earth
You will become one with the dirt
Living in pain
As a woman who gives birth
 
And this is just the beginning
Of the inevitable ending
Of our human nature
As we embark to something greater
The day is near
When we will meet our Maker
Our Lord
Our Savior
He will be revealed to us
As He descends from above
Will you be marked by His love?
Or will your earthly grave already be dug
 
Listen and head to the heat of the sun
As the days grow longer
And we begin to loiter
Our time becomes shorter
How will you protect your borders
The borders of your heart
On constant guard
 
Sing a new song
Share your story
Yes, every part
The messy and the hard
And know that in the end
It is Him
Who is ultimately in charge
With an army of angels
Both near and far
Our bright morning star
 
He is coming soon
Will you be ready?
Will you, do you share the good news?
 
Now is the time to pray
“But you,
When you pray
go into your inner room
Close your door and pray
to your Father who is in secret
And your Father who sees what is done in secret
Will reward you” -Matthew 6:6
