Tuesday Truthful Humour
Thanks for joining me for Tuesday’s Truthful Humour, a time for a little giggle and some truth, too.
At the construction site, this young and strong guy was bragging that he could outdo anyone when it came to acts of physical strength. He made a special case of making fun of Morris, one of the older workmen who had been with the construction company for a long, long time.
After several days of this, Morris had enough and challenged the younger guy: "Why don't you put your money where your mouth is?" he said. "I will bet a week's wages that I can haul something in a wheelbarrow over to that outbuilding that you won't be able to wheel back."
"You're on, old man," the young guy replied. "It's a bet! Let's see what you got."
Morris reached out and grabbed the wheelbarrow by the handles. Then, nodding to the young man, he said, "All right. Get in."
Oh, my goodness, the old guy outwitted the young guy for sure! How do you keep your mind and body active? Leave me a comment and for more encouragement, check out www.trenchclassesunited.com
