Welcome to the next level
Where you're stuck in between
Like the black piano keys
Small
Yet powerful
Only used to make a scene
A perfect harmony
Within His symphony
Can't you hear the angels sing?
They are calling to you
Reminding you
This space
Right here
Is where you need to be
Not one step further
No, darling
Hold on
Wait a little while longer
I know you feel like you are sinking
Drowning underwater
Tired of screaming
Scraping through the tundra
Hoping and wishing for some sort of breakthrough
Anything to just make it through
This wilderness
This dry desert
Anything but this present
But that right there is the gift
This present moment
This is His
Bask in it
His glory
His mighty hand
He is in it
He is here with you
When you feel like there is nowhere and nothing to turn to
As you fall on your face
Feeling like this is such a mistake
I am here to tell you
There is no one like you
This season is your multitude
Your multitude that will change you
Your moment that will break you
And remold
And reshape you
Into something so extraordinary
You cannot even begin to
Say thank you
So thank Him now
Be grateful for the field of wild thorns
That is soon to be plowed
Into beautiful rows
Of roses
And drops of gold
As light radiates from the sun
From the tip of your nose
Because you are here
Because you are willing, able, and aware
He is drawing you in
To go into depths you would never before dare
Although you may feel unprepared
Like you are trapped within a snare
You are on the road of getting to a place
Full of beauty so rare
Like gemstones in the night
Or diamonds in sun's glare
You will dance amongst the light
Without a worry or a care
Because, my darling
You have doused yourself in a warrior’s prayer
