When His Word is the lamp in our heart, we will not walk in darkness

Monday’s Message

A new beginning
Or a new ending
Only time will tell
This story You know all too well
Engraved upon our heart
From the very start
A flicker of light
Illuminating the dark
 
Be still my heart
Be still my soul
Not even the Lord, our God knows
The time
The place
He will return to meet us
Face to face
When the last trumpet blows
Our souls taken to our final home
 
For now we keep writing  
For now we keep going
As the pages of our story
Continue on turning
Do you feel that yearning?
Your heart on fire
Your spirit burning
The feeling anew
Stirring up desires in you
 
As the sky meets the sea
Enveloped in blue
We merge together as one
Beaming brighter than the sun
For you, oh Lord
have already won
& our good works
Have only begun
 
Let us be one
One heart
One soul
As our body moves forward
Wherever our feet may go
More power within us
Than our human self can know
Let us pray
Let us grow
 
Becoming Your soldier
As You prepare our new home
We fight for You
We cry for You
This world unbeknownst
To the glory encompassing
Our true Savior
Our Holy Ghost
Lord, take us home

Is the One who has shone in our hearts
To give the Light of knowledge of the glory of God
In the face of Christ.
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels,
so that the surpassing greatness of the power
will be of God and not from ourselves.” – 2 Corinthians 4:6-7
