Monday Message

In the valley there is little breeze
and I grieve
Beseeching, Lord please,
tell me what this means?
 
and as I fall to my knees
I weep
and I mourn
The lost feeling of warmth
 
A soul torn
caught in between the moments
of one life ending
and a new one beginning
 
The smile of a babe
The darkness of the shade
Where you can see the sun shining
but cross over too soon and it can be blinding
 
Keep climbing
But don’t jump
For move too soon
and you'll face the wrath of the sun
 
Stop trying
Just breathe
Stop striving
and just be
 
See the beauty of this moment
This season
you are growing
 
Plant the seeds in this dark valley
and watch the rivers sing
for in this moment you are becoming
exactly who you were called to be
 
The desert walk
is worth it all
Every stumble
Every fall
 
Showing you the crevices
where darkness still calls
 
 
Call on Me
and let Me bring
down storms of rain showers
to mend together the dry sea
 
As you keep climbing
the days turn to weeks
and My Spirit will overflow
as your cup no longer leaks
 
Instead the angels will sing
as your flesh becomes weak
 
Day by day
you keep walking
through this valley in between
who you once were
and who you will soon be
 
My daughter, keep on shining
and soon it will be your light
that is ever blinding
